I personally think that people's opinions will change once the PF ships and everyone will stop hating on it so much.

Sideshow's photographer for some reason always sucks and more often than not the pieces always look better when they're in the hands of competent futzers and photographers.

I'm not getting this piece because I have no room for it, but the people who did order it I'm sure will be pleased once they have it. Honestly I wish I did have the space for it.....and the money

With regards to the Emperor and Throne: 1:6 > PF >Attakus

no way the 1:6 is going to be better than the PF. I know that when we'll have it in hand and pics will start to be shown the 12" will be only a memory...

I don't think it's the photographer. I have no issues with the photography, which has significantly improved over the years.
It's the hood.

The 360 QTVR looks much better than the sideshow pics... anyway I agree hood has to be fixed.

So true. A memory of a marginally more accurate, albeit smaller in scale and cheaper in price, alternative to the too small hoodie and strange coloring of the PF.

Trev's sculpts are beyond reproach. I'm thrilled he did the work for this PF. But 90% of The Emperor's "look" is in that hood. The tailoring and positioning of it makes all the difference between "looks nothing like" and "jumped off the screen!"

I have the 1:1 bust and how I displayed the hood really gave him that "Jumped off the screen" look you are talking about!

Sales must be very low for this piece if they are already taking 'alleged' new pics so quickly after the pre order date, it wasnt that long ago.
The NRD isnt helping either im assuming.

This is an even bigger FAIL than the statue is in it's current form
If they can't notice the photos haven't changed how are they supposed to get the ____ing sculpt screen accurate?

I think I noticed a few different pics but im still not sold on it! Price point is too high for me with it first seeing it. I hope they have it on display at SDCC, then ill decide.

The clasp would be easily fixed by SS and even by people who get the statue, take it off and reglue it lower, thus the hood get larger. But the throne needs to be widened at the top section, over Palps shoulders...
