End of the world suicide?

This may be a sensitive topic, but I thought about it when I read a teenage girl killed herself, after believing the atom smasher would destroy the world. Now in supposed end times, some people become so overwhelmed, they kill themselves.

Why?

If you knew the apocalypse was upon us all, why kill yourself? Why not wait a while like everybody else?

Now, if you guys KNEW the end was near, what you go out early, or would you man it out to see what all the commotion is about?

Suicide is just plain wrong, it shouldn't even be a resort. Life has its ups and downs but why kill yourself and miss out on the good times? They always come sooner or later.

Its beyond me how someone could just willingly do such a thing.

Now as for the end of times, you guys really think its going to be like the movie "Singing in the rain"? Nope. I would like to exit this place when it happens.
