Well, you know AA, Sideshow is as much doing these pieces for themselves as they are for us the collector. Think of Hasbro, they give nice products for what they make, but it's not high end stuff that requires a great deal of time and devotion to get the end result. Sideshow is making something and they'll spend a long time developing the proto, going back and forth on materials, paint, etc. on the production, and a good deal of time on the marketing, so they look for a balance of what can they enjoy giving that kinda time and attention to and what the collector wants. I've seen some people on the face turn quite favorably towards the troops, so for those that are enjoying them, they're a nice score, you pick and choose your battles. Bottom line, for the most part, companies making things like this are taking a hit or miss gamble that the market will want their product, and it's the consumer's choice whether to buy what's made or not and it is likely something you want will never get made, but you can't hold it against the manufacturer.
