the only application that we are using right now is Autocad 21, very user friendly, there are many platforms out there and all have there pros and cons but for what we do it does the job.

Yeah, of course.
Our program does the job too, but nothing's more annoying than a parametric program where almost EVERY idea you have turns into an error message.
Take my direct colleague for example:
He does the cover for the whole windmill part and has VERY complex sketches and Inventor didn't make it...he has to accommodate HIMSELF to the program, cause EVERY alternative he uses didn't work...
