Well, i enjoyed Enlaved more...Castlevania has some real frustating parts after the middle of the game and i was frustated by the history being apart from the Castlevania world.

Enslaved is a great game, nice pace, nice graphics, nice controllers and nice history.

I hope not, the sales for Okami weren't very good and that game is great. Sadly there are a lot of games that are worthy of high praise but don't sell well because they don't have Halo, Madden, or COD in the name.

Good to hear I feel this would be the general consensus for everyone that bought both, Enslaved is just the better game.
 
Picked this game up today and got a $25 coupon :rock Not starting it yet as I have a bit of a backlog.

The buzz across the interwebs is positive, but you can tell the game is off the radar of many people.

Their loss right? There were many great games I've played over the years that hardly got any recognition but are some of my favorites. I mean even the first Uncharted didn't get the praise it deserved.

I remember picking it up when it first came out and not many people were aboard yet. Then the 2nd all of sudden was this huge event for everyone, as they jumped on ship.
 
Played the Demo last night....it was beautiful and fun. The design of the main character is retarded tho.

I'm definitely gonna pick it up when it's in the bargain bin. :lecture

For those not in the know, the whole story is based off of the 16th century novel "Journey to the West" in which the Monkey King escorts a monk in his pilgrimage to India. The Monkey King rides on a cloud and has an expendable staff (get your mind out of the gutter). This story was also the basis of the original Dragonball.

Personally, I like how Monkey looks and acts. His movements were mo-capped off of the guy who was Gollum in LOTR (Andy Serkis). I even like how the sash on his belt is reminiscent of a tail .

Even popular games drop in price quickly now-a-days, so you should be able to pick this up cheap later, Bam.

Yeah...I didn't know about that it was based off a story but I did notice the Monkey King resemblance.

I just hate his face paint and Super Saiyan hair. :lol
 
I e-mailed Amazon about not getting my free access to the soundtrack, and they replied saying that no such promotion was running when I preordered it, though i saw it below the button when I preordered it, along with the $10 credit.

Those mother f'ers.

I am but now way I'm posting 3 times in a row about a game, I'm talking to myself about it then. I'm going back forth playing this and Okami...both I love.

This thread should never even fall from the top three right now...no idea how dumb custom RE figures keeps making it to the top with mumbo jumbo in it.

I like how fresh it feels when playing it, it's nice to have an original IP in the world dominated by sequels every holiday.
