I'm pretty sure the 1/4 Enterbay figure is actually based on the suit Batman wore at the very beginning of The Dark Knight, not the one from Batman Begins, because even though they look very similar, the cowls look slightly different......:)

Hello Everyone!

I am finally thinking of getting him. Would like to know if I should ask any specific questions from the seller regarding its overall condition, rubber, etc.? Can only make out so much from the pics.

Also, those who already have him, did you see anything going bad in all these years? I heard about magnets not working and joints.

Its been more than a decade he was released and I'd just like to be as cautious as I can before I spend the money.

Thanks a lot for all your help!

Aaaah , The enterbay bats ... it's still a Beauty

For You're question

1- the figure wears the best rubber suit I have ever seen on a figure, mine it's still in prime condition

2- magnets are ok just a little bit tricky to use

3- the only thing that you need to check are the arms joints, it's pretty common on this figure to get a broken arm

Almost a year late on answering this but here I go lol:

If you can find one at a decent price I would jump on one as it is still the best representation of the Batman Begins suit in any scale, IMHO. It definitely needs a little tweaking out of the box with the belt (sits too high and VERY tight). The stock cape is solid but I bought some fabric and made my own home-made cape to give it the velvet/flocked look. The rubberized suit is the most accurate out of the offerings in the scale (NECA and HT). HT's just looks like plastic, and NECA's is decent but a lot of exposed joints (definitely the most articulated for some cool poses out of these three).

The leg joints on mine are tight at the hips, and the left one does not want to kick forward without some serious pulling (which I won't attempt). I love how they gave us 3 separate cowls plus the Bruce Wayne head sculpt. Each cowl is looking in a different direction, and the three mouth plates are interchangeable and magnetic.

It came with lots of accessories which was a great touch, plus lots of hands. The magnetized belt and pouches/cannisters aren't the strongest, but they stay in place with a little futzing.

I have had this in my collection for two years now. Overall, it's still quite sturdy and I have no issues with the suit -- still looks brand new and it has incredible presence. The likeness is amazing, and it's crazy how this figure has held up compared to today's standards. It's a shame Enterbay were unable to continue with DC figures in this scale. I also have the Enterbay 1/4 Joker and I still think it's a great display piece.

I have a few statues in my collection now (Prime 1 Studio 1/2 scale BvS Batman and Knightmare Batman) and would love to see one of these statue companies offer a Batman Begins piece in 1/3 or 1/2 scale with mixed media (rubber suit effect and velvet/flocked cape). I wouldn't be surprised if HT did a 2.0 of their 1/4, but they still continue to miss the mark with wild inaccuracies and sheer laziness (looking at you 1/6 MMS595).

Awesome Begins figure, which is my favourite movie suit! I refused to buy the 1/6 Hot toys which is a total miss and am still waiting for a great 1/6. In the meantime, I bought a cheap Takara figure.
I have the Sideshow 1/4 statue and the HS is not as good as this Enterbay.

Yeah, out of the box the latest HT 1/6 is awful between the headsculpts and the initial shiny finish on the early batches. It takes a few extra hundred bucks between the awesome custom headsculpts by OT, Jaxon, or Unreal plus a custom cape. I've seen some amazing mods to it but it takes a bit of money to get there.

The Sideshow statue is nice, but it's a little stylized.
