Super Freak
Well I got Hot Toys Robocop this mornin. As some of you know, I was one of the first to get and to rave about this Enterbay one.
Now that I have both it's very interesting comparing the versions.
Essentially the Hot Toys is a little less fussy, feels really solid and just over all better made and more sturdy.
However, it's not diecast really, the metal gun serves no purpose at all and the plastic gun should've really been able to fit into the leg. That's very weak I think. The sounds are also on a cycle and are low in sound quality. The Enterbay has only 3 sounds but each one sounds like Robo is saying it. HT sounds like recordings from the TV.
Hot Toys Robo is far more posable which I love but The EB robo is more screen accurate in terms of proportions, likeness and metal finish.
I am die hard Robocop fan so I will be keeping both for now but in all honesty, you are good with either version. Just go by what size you prefer or can afford to display. That's my opinion anyways.
