As always, supremely jealous of any Dark Spidey repaints. Beautiful shots from David, also as always.

And I like that setup snoop. The Hot Toys are on Stoney's stands if I'm not mistaken.

Very glad to have the Enterbay figure, great display options although I've only changed it up about once. I just like knowing those additional extras are there really. The figure was definitely worth the sale price - can't actually remember what that was - if memory serves Enterbay themselves asked way too much for it originally.

Thanks man. Yeah they're from Stoney. He makes cool stands but i don't think I'd buy from him again considering how much he charges.

If I recall correctly I think the original price for the EB Robo was $599. The sale prices were around $200.

I greatly regret not buying this figure when it was $200. If anyone ever wants to sell one for that price (yeah right!), you've got an instant buyer right here!

Thanks A-dev. I wish I could publish more content but I?m not into this hobby anymore. The lack of proper Terminator products didn?t help either...

If anyone out there wants to sell the exclusive R2 helmet, DM me. I know there's a fat chance of that, haha, but I just managed to get one of these finally and would love to complete it with that exclusive helmet.

Okay! So after unpacking this I was really surprised to see how many areas in which it surpasses the HT piece. I love my HT figures, and I doubt anything will ever top the BD RoboCop, but this figure is definitely an upgrade over the HT diecast one.

Back when this was on sale at BBTS and I was thinking about buying it, I read a post here saying that this figure missed a bunch of details that HT got right. Maybe that's true, but so far I've only been able to find two things Enterbay got right that HT got wrong. First, Robo's left shoulder has detailing that was missed on the HT piece. Second, the HT piece has detailing on the holster leg that actually shouldn't be there--it should only be on the non-holster leg. Enterbay got that right, too.

The build quality isn't as nice, for sure, and the possibility is more limited, but the proportions are absolutely more correct, the Weller likeness is stronger, and most crucially the paint job is so much better. While it is still too light in colour and doesn't have the beautiful colours and layers of the real suit (or a Dark Spidey repaint), the base colour is far closer on the Enterbay figure than the HT one, and there'sore depth to it.

I am thrilled to have this on the shelf, finally. Even the dumb jetpack feels like it's worth displaying, even if I'll never put it on him. The seven year old in me still kinda likes it.

I’ve gotten into many arguments on the EB vs HT, it’s not even close
EB robo is the best we have

Stunning shots. I got mine during the BBTS deal after passing on it when it originally came out due to the cost and me trying to be somewhat disciplined at the time. I'm glad to have it now.

Hot Toys has always 'felt' higher quality but it may not be so what with some reports of those clear plastic joints splitting over time. And the paint job is frustratingly bright and inaccurate. EB is a littler better in that regard as you say Saintv1.

I have both the HT and EB, EB wins hands down. It doesn't hurt that I was able to get the EB version for less than the HT version at BBTS. But the EB version has much better paint and accessories. My electronics worked as well (they were sold cheap because some didn't function). The only thing I like better on the HT is the articulated fingers, I'd sell my HT version, but it goes too well with my HT ED-209.

I definitely think having both is the way to go. HT has plenty going for it, while the EB version is worth buying almost for the paintjob alone.

It's also got to be the most complete collectible available, since you can display it as Burke or Weller, and with the jetpack and gun arm if that's your thing. If only I could get the exclusive helmet somehow.

I had the HT version and right now I have the Enterbay one. As other said the material quality is not better on the Enterbay but everything else is superior. Likeness, little details, paint, proportion. I am glad I have it. Beautiful piece.

Apologies for bumping such an old thread. Does anyone know whether there's much demand for these at the moment? I have one that I'm looking to sell. Thought it might be worth checking before I consider upgrading my account to try to sell it on here. Thanks.

I think yes. You can sell it pretty easily.

- No one should apologize for bumping old threads. Old figures rule.
- You can check ebay's "sold list" using the search filter and deduct 14% to determine how much people are willing to pay for it.
- You don't need to upgrade your account anymore in order to sell on SSF.. I mean CF!

Hi, guys,

I'm brand new to this forum, so sorry if part of this question should go elsewhere.

I've been eyeing the amazing RoboCop figures from various companies for years now, and I've finally hit a point where I'm ready to buy.

I've been looking around and things are kind of confusing though (and I'm having trouble finding detailed descriptions of items).

For the Enterbay 1/4 Robocop 3, some pictures show him with a battle damaged helmet in addition to the regular one, but it seems that not all of them come with it. Is there a special serial number for the one with the helmet? How do you tell what you're getting?

Also, I have gathered that some of them don't actually have working electronics (gun holster, head swivel, voice lines). How do you tell if you're buying one with electronics or not? I feel like they were all supposed to have them but then something happened toward the end and they "disabled" it in some of them or something?

How tall is this figure? I've seen it written that he's 18" some places, and others that he's 22". Which is it? Or are there two different ones of different heights?

If you have his arm fully extended and holding the Auto 9 how much space does he take up depth wise? Is it over 12 inches? (Probably not, but I want to be sure).

Also, does the paint job on this figure have any of the blue/purple that is present in the movie, or is it just pure silver? I've heard conflicting things on this as well (but mostly that it's just pure silver).

Finally, would anyone be so kind as to measure the height of the stand that he comes with? I can't imagine it's more than an inch tall, but I'm trying to figure out a display case for him and I don't want the height of the base to make him too tall for the case.

Thanks so much to anyone who responds. 😊

Can't help with measurements as I sold mine a while back but it is definitely silver and not purplish or bluish.

BBTS sold a bunch of these on clearance as "non-electronics" versions, but I think that was because they were concerned some may have been faulty. I bought one and it worked fine so there's a good chance it will work even if it's designated as a "non-electronics" version.
