I think the Dutch P/F beats it sculptwise but won't necessarily beat it in paint. However its a different Arnie character and a different format.

The release date for the figure is July 2012 and expect too see pictures on net the around March 2012, Scale will be 1/4 HD ROBOCOP.

does anyone have any detail on this? statue or figure? material? base?

The sideshow PF version is still the king and one of the few PF that's articulate. But it's long due for an update.

I know all the released enterbay 1/4 scale are mixed media, so probably polystone with plastic as the armor? hopefully it's on par to sideshow PF quality...maybe my first enterbay item.

I just came back from EB shop, Nat told me that this will be a 1/4 poseable action HD figure.

That made my day!

Really hope that the articulation is better than the Hottoys Version. Something like the figma ROBOCOP, Neca or the old Takara ROBOCOP.

HT Robocop was as articulated as Peter Weller in the suit. What are you hoping for? King Fu poses?

Well I've got some screengrabs of Robo in cool (if not exactly kung fu!) poses that you can't really manage with the HT one but then the same is probably true of every other company's figure. Not sure about the Figma or the new 7" Neca as I don't have those.

Hm...1/4 scale Masked (Kamen) Rider? I might be down for that.

Indeed. I am so excited to see how that turns out. It is the only thing so far that might convince me to go into the 1/4 posable figure world. Medicom's Kamen Rider figures have poor articulation due to their outfits, are expensive, etc... so a really nicely articulated and huge Kamen Rider would be awesome!

A review is up on (I think, the figma figure) over at collectiondx.com. It's ok ish but I'll be happy with an accurately poseable Robo along the lines of the old Hot Toys one. I think accurate proportion is the most important thing for me. I've got an old Horizon 1/6 vinyl kit and that has to be the only near perfect version of Weller Robo I've seen, right down to his pout. Superb kit painted up.

The only thing I'd say I'll buy in 1/4 is the P1 & P2 but if the EB Robocop is anything like there T800, it's going to be hard to say no to but I'm really trying to stick to just collecting Preds, which is going to be expensive alone. EB Kamen Rider look's awesom as well, I'm glad I'm not into that because that would of been another temptation I don't need right now :)
