Not familiar with the film, or anything else Kwok has done - but they do look like beautifully realised figures, at least at the proto stage.

I kinda want these. I was gonna start a thread for this a while back but most people here kinda just **** on the Asian specific collaborated stuff lol

Wished they had a regular fireman uniform with the set too.'

I clicked on here because I thought this thread was about Enterbay going out of business.

Why would you want that? Then Hot Toys would have no competition on the market and you will see figures rise in price very fast. Everything is already coasting up to $220-250 an item. If EB goes out, they're easily going to start bumping things up another $10-30 at a time

EB are starting to increase prices themselves. I don't see any difference in their pricing system. At least HT's qc is better than them.

I didn't say I wanted it, I just thought it had finally happened.

Yeah I know. Everyone is increasing prices. At the very least, Eb has an American distributor all some of the shipping prices get mitigated.

I'm just hoping they push out some more unique licenses like this movie collaboration figure set.

These figures look fabulous. And wow o_O those actors are cute! If they did a female firefighter I might actually get one. Has EB ever done a female figure?

Good question - I know they've pulled the plug on Bulma, and slated Emily Rossum as part of their 'girlfriend' line, but I can't think of any female character they've done.

I also thought Enterbay was going out of business :D
Wasn't happy about it though. Saw the thread title and thought noooooooooooo!

I may have my problems with them but its generally always them that push the market forward with new ideas.

Wow, I forgot about that ridiculous "Girlfriends" line. On second though, it is probably for the best they do not have any female characters.

I hope one of the female artists breaks away and makes more female-interest dolls at this level of realism and quality. I don't see the current companies breaking out of their narrow vision of this hobby anytime soon.
