My lowdown on Enterbays latest base body, and it's turned out good. Based on a certain Marxist revolutionary, I also cover the clothing set that is available to compliment the 'ahem' likeness.

Can you stick his arms out and close them together in front or do the arms flop out?

Thanks very much for the beret tip, Wookster. The DiD beret is much too small for this head. I don't know whether you tried any other pants on this figure, but I think it presents the same problem as the old ACE Workshop body -- big waist. The Enterbay pants are going to save anyone going for Che a lot of headache. I had the same experience as you with the boots. I'd love to see a photo of the Medicom head sometime; I didn't know the ape version had an alternate head.

What I would have hoped from this review was a breakdown of how it stacked up to the Damon body. The review insinuated that it was comparable to a truetype and it's well known that the Damon body was less than a top standard body far less than a truetype.

It illustrates problems with the neck which were evident in the Damon body as well. Which leads be to wonder If there are any changes at all and it's not just the same body with a Che gueverra
Head instead.

I like the Damon body too never had an issue besides the neck mobility I like having a taller option and the proportions of the shoulders. The body went to Spock and he looks stellar. But... The bOdy is nowhere near up to the true type standard.

To be fair with my assessment I pose my figures and leave them. So if it holds a pose, and the proportions look good clothed the body is fine for me. Therefore a truetype holds no special place for me.

No probs, I just scored a spare on eBay for $5, a lot for a 1/6th beret maybe, but its spot on. Now I need to get a red star. I'll try and find some pics of the Medi head, I have some at work somewhere. It's a lot more basic (of its time really). Are you on FB? I have a friend there with an amazing Guevara collection, and he has it there.
And no, I didn't try any other trousers... so he's a bit thick of trunk is he. I'll try some BBi pants on him next chance I get.

Only prob was the neck mobility, as I mentioned in the review, not a deal breaker, but it certainly needs revisions.
I believe the only diff with the Damon body are the leg extenders, so this version is a tad shorter.

Nice review Wook. I might have to get this, I didnt even known this was out, I've been waiting for OSB to put it up but maybe he's not stocking them :dunno

Wai Man gave me the price for the figure and clothing set, so I'm sure he'll have it soon.

Yeah, you mean like 2 handed gun grip pose. He is capable but doesn't have any gun grip hands.

Kinda, but both arms sticking out and closing in toward the chest. I have two Enterbay Donnie Yen figures and they use the same Damon body I think. The arms flop back out a bit if I try to bring the arms together. So I was wondering if this body was any sort of improvement on that by stiffening the gears so that it wouldn't flop out due to some looseness.

I'll try it out later.

Edit-
Just tried it and took some pics (I'll post on Monday as I dont have my camera cables here) but it worked fine and kept the pose perfectly, no springing or flopping back from the pose.
