Well after a year and a bit we have a tease...
Looks to be 'Modern Connor' first judging by the scabbard on the Katana, ltd to 888 units

I'm thrilled.
Finally.
How much do we know about Iconiq Studios? Where are those guys based? China? HK? Elsewhere?
They have only made a small bunch of figs, haven't they? Are those any good? Lots of rubber bodies, I see. They might not cut it?
Anyways, how come such an unknown, probably tiny outfit could land a licence from SC?

To me, the Highlands segment is Connor & Ramirez training. The montage. The awakening. The Quickening.
If the Kurgan gets released, which I hope, it must include full armour battle look & duel look. An accurate diorama piece to execute Ramirez on will be much needed, too.

To me, the NY segment is Connor in his loft..... that loft... oh man... I still dream of 1 day living in a place so modern, forward looking, roomy & yet so interesting, cozy & welcoming. And Connor's Sancta Sactorum.... wow..... a place to savour that secretly kept 400-year old scotch from good old Glenfinnan.....

That movie is pure gold, but only to those w/ the right eyes to see it.

Why are you @tys1977 so sure it is going to be NY Connor? That is my absolute favourite! And what is with that 888 edition number?

I can't help but speculating.
What can we expect from IS for NY Connor? Perfect tailoring, fit & underlying physicality would be musts. Realistic fabrics. Those jeans... that oversized gray trench coat... the heroic WW2 pilot jacket (in real leather, I hope)..... the gloves..... the dirty sneakers..... Lambert's build.....
Then likeness.... I hope they will improve upon KP's outing, which was quite OK back then but not up to today's standards. And that unshaven look, so 80s....
Then rooted hair. That Lambertian hair was so cool, be it dry & loose, or soaking wet and fully combed backwards.
Movable eyes, anyone? They add so much to a figure's expressivity....
Metal hardware would also be in order, complete w/ spark and electricity attachements à la Star Wars.

W/ modern times Kurgan, one could recreate the church scene. "Sacred ground, Highlander! Remember what Ramirez taught you!".

I am also wondering about the price point. Ramirez is going to be every bit as expensive as the owl from Tyrell Corp.

Chime in, you all Highlanders! This is it, at long last!
Thx.
