What cabinet is your T-800 in? :) A regular detolf?

That's not a detolf,probably an acrylic case.

Ive been thinking about getting a few myself but damn are those expensive.
Ive checked a few places and im trying to find the best deal.

How much did you pay for an acrylic case that is about 20" tall before shipping?Ive checked around and found cases in that size around 80-100$ each, not bought anything yet though.

HEy guyz here's some more WIP Pics. of my Rambo figure. He's about 65% done but still have to weather his pants, body and other things.I'm still waiting for another grenade to attach to the post so i can add some tripwire to it but i did weather the post to make it look rusty.I added more stubble to the face but not too much cause i think it would take away from the overall appearance but i could be wrong. What do you think?I also mottled his skin some more as well as adding more highlights and started to add some scruff to his neck.Cap,AWESOME PICS bro!:clapNow that i see yours without a shirt i think i'm going to have to pose him that way too.Right now i have posed almost like Roberto :hi5:has/had his Rambo but i think i'm going to go with the Rambo blows up chopper with bow scene.I also finished with the dyeing of the bag and i was going to dye the strap on the AK but after watching the movie about a half a dozen times the only shots that have a clear view show the strap in a Khaki brown color but of course i could be wrong(not the first time).I'm finishing up the bow right now and will post PICS as soon as i'm done.I'll tell you i was very skeptical about this figure at first but the more time i spend with this the more i think how could've i even thought of passing on such an INCREDIBLE looking figure!:slapI'm now waiting for my T-800 which i should get next week.:wink1:

:impatient: still waiting for a replacement body to be shipped back to me.....:dunno Not sure why it's taking so long because they have had my defective body since 7/16/12 ..... I did get a refund for my shipping costs. :yess:

Cool pics Ceemor, excellent pose (although as you'll see shortly, i have changed mine now) love the stubble effects, mine has come out really well too although it is very tough to show it on camera (unless you have good one) i think it looks better in person doesnt it. I think the way the strap is for enterbays AK47 is movie accurate, i just didnt like the colour of it and made it black instead to go with the overall look black look of Rambo. I was going to do the same with his bag and still might...not too fussed if its not 100% movie accurate but can appreciate those who are. Saying that your bag and gun strap look great! Well Done! I also managed to finish my weathering on his clothes last night and blends in well with my custom Diorama. Just in the process of making my new acrylic display case which should be completed by next Wednesday so i will have the final pics up sometime next week. I'm hoping once i have installed the lighting inside the case it will add an extra atmosphere to the overall display.

Really try to invest in some good acrylic cases for your pieces. They really deserve it and make them stand out so much more rather than having them up on the shelf gathering dust. I know they can be pricey so why not have a go at making some cases yourselves guys...its so much cheaper, is easy to learn and makes your collection look awesome! I made my custom T-800 display case myself after only 3 months of experience and i learnt from YouTube videos! Yes, thats right YouTube videos! There are a few examples of how to glue acrylic together, once you have mastered that all you need next is to find the right acrylic you want, have them cut to size and then diamond polish them for that shiny look! I am currently in the process of making my Rambo display case and its gonna be BIG! Almost as big as my T-800 display and that has a motorcycle inside! lol! Cant wait to reveal the final pics for you guys... :clap

If I had this figure I'd be making a big, desert scenery display with fish tank sand, tiny stones and scatter AK-47 and RPG etc in it

Spooky Jack, that's exactly what i've done! lol! Dont want to give too much away but what you have just described is almost spot on mate apart from the stones are not so tiny! :)

Bro Ceeemor, those modifications are really paying off. Due to the skin color looking a little more tan, it's now closer to the movie character! :clap

Do you mind sharing how you are doing this, and also the addition of the stubble/beard? :wave I have to try this on my 2nd one.

I personally think every EB 1/4 scale to date looks stunning and they are the best digital representations of these characters you can get.

The more you pose these guys and see what can be done, the more impressive they are and you really grow attached to them. I don't want to, but if I had to sell my HT Rambos, but could keep this, I'd be fine ultimately, it's just so good. I did sell all my HT T2 and have no regrets, I love the EB figure more than any T2 piece I've ever owned.

It does looks pretty impressive in person, much better than in pictures. Have acrylic eyes, too.
This is a quick snap with levels adjusted to look "overexposed" on purpose, you can
see some details and depth better this way sometimes...

Yup Jack, that's a case. :)
A glass case I did locally pretty cheap, around $25. Doll Rambo will have his, too.

These picture are ____ing killer bro . Damm!! I'm glad I bought this !!

thanks buddy, you won't be disappointed, that's for sure.

Ceeemor, nice pics and like the mods, too!

Roberto, can't wait to see the dio finished, sounds great! I may do something with mine, too. Was thinking some fake rocky walls in the back of the case....
