That's really terrible dude!! Crap like that will eventually kill them before long.

What is it with these companies and their crappy care.

I did get my Rambo today (which also happens to be my birthday).

I have major misgivings about the character as he was in Rambo 2 and 3 (ie. Ronald Regan with a gun) but I love this figure.

Still working but I hope to get to fix him all up later today after I go see Expendables tonight! :)

Anybody has a loose head on theirs? It's no biggie but curious if other have it too.

Happy b-day!!!! Expendables 2 is freaking awesome and a great follow up to the first one. Loose Rambo hs is a bummer, but you can fix that with the super glue trick, or a little tape!!! As long as your figure has nice shoulder joints your good.

P.S. EB makes awesome head sculpts, but crappy bodies!!! Also, their CS and repair service sucks big time. :)

Dude, I was put off the Men in Black figures after hearing the problems and seeing the complete lack of support.

Does Rambo's head pop off easily?

You could add a little bit of something to the balljoint to keep it tight, or maybe check if it's in all the way.

Just got my Rambo body back from EB repair/exchange dept. today. Guess what everybody? It showed up in the exact same way I shipped it off, minus the protective box. It showed up in a ripped up envelope without being fixed!!! Passion for Perfection my a$$... Same loose shoulder joint and they only glued a quarter of the torso back!!! The top by the armpit is still completely apart....... Got the same body back too cause I placed a little black dot on the body just to see if they send the same body back, or actually replace it. I waited 2 long months for nothing. Warning to all going forward about EB defective products. If you get one immediately file a claim with Paypal and do not deal with EB!!! They screw you over and don't really fix or replace stuff. Done with them.

 :( :thud:

Will post pics of their fix later.........

Oh, bull-****ing-****. No. NO. NO!

Gah, that's awful! I haven't even gotten an email from them, fingers crossed all goes well. Maybe I'll just send them a little message today to check up on things. That's terrible news, though. Contact them anyway and get on their ass, see what they can do. This is unacceptable.

If my Rambo arrives without a fix, I'll try selling him. Obviously I'll take a hit, but screw it. At least I'll get most of my money back. No figure, no matter how impressive it may be if perfect, is worth this kind of risk. Being ripped off nearly half a grand by the manufacturer themselves? Unbelievable. And people in the 1/4 OC Batman thread wonder why some people refuse to buy the figure despite its good looks.

Good idea. Also, good luck Blade on your Rambo fix. Mine is a disaster!!! EB didn't fix anything and just shipped it back to me. I will try to fix it myself, once I get some time. The only thing I'm worried about is when I re-glue the torso seam back together. Not sure what type of glue to use cause I don't want to melt it. I think I might be shirt bound for this guy. Maybe I can get one from Robertobagg10's friend.

This has been the worst toy purchase in my 20 plus years of collecting. I will never spend this much on one item again. EB is out of control treating customers this way. I was already prepared for this outcome though, after seeing the MIB thread fixes.

Yep, real easy to breakdown. Just like Hot Toys on this. Head is on a ball joint neck post/peg. :)

Coolness thanks!

I am fixing my guy up now. I noticed that when I was putting on his bags, I had to move the arm up and in doing so I see the gap on the shoulder has been made far smaller. Tried it on the other arm but it didn't do the same. Perhaps I need to futz more?

And what is the extra sealed in clear plastic Enterbay box with all the arrows about?
Is this something they forgot to add and put in last minute?
I assume I put those in his black bag!

I just sent them an email and hinted at your report (didn't name names or how many people were involved). Hopefully that'll light a bit of a fire under them. Not sure if it's a matter of spending so much on one item, it's more a matter of where you buy from (and of course, who makes it). I won't buy direct ever again.

Is that other arm slightly looser? If so, you may have the same internal shoulder joint issue that DEATHASYLUM and I have. :( Keep futzing, though. You needn't be worried unless the arm doesn't want to stay in its current position.

I'll repost my problem video for reference:

As for the extra arrows, those are a bonus for ordering direct from EB. Unlike the ones included with the bow, these can be taken apart and used for an assembly pose or you can just put them in his quiver.

An exclusive item (the extra arrow heads) when you purchase direct from EB. I think a few people didn't get theirs and had to send e-mails to get them. :slap

Oh, I was talking about EB products and spending that much on their figures!!! $500 plus for a kick a$$ Hot Toys 1/4 scale T-800 Police Shootout is definitely happening.

:yess:

I have asked again and he has said that there maybe a possibility of making others but i wouldnt have thought it would be a huge amount, maybe 2 or 3. I'll keep you updated as soon as any confirmation comes through :)

Hey Robertobagg10, I think I might be a perfect candidate for one of your friends shirts if possible cause I'm gonna have to cut my body open to get to the shoulder joint now. I had an unsuccessful EB fix on my defective Rambo body from their repair department. Thanks if you can help & put me on the maybe list!!!

I just received my Rambo body! Not half an hour after my last post, the door rang and I signed for the thing. They replaced it; the bicep seams are smoother and the shoulders are perfectly futzable (they actually stay where I put them, in other words). I just suited up my figure and it feels new; I didn't spend too long with my figure the first time around before taking it apart and sending it away. Now it's just good to have him back. I'm going shirtless from here on out.

DEATHASYLUM, get on their case for sure. I won't applaud EB for doing what they should've done all along, but they'll probably work with you if you give them a firm nudge. Possibly more. Could be because of the choice words I left on Bill's FB page or because I also mentioned a minor ungluing in the crotch region of my old body, but one of two things happened: they either wanted to avoid another inevitable fire storm or just thought it'd be easier to break out a replacement. By all means, get pissed off (without blatantly bashing them to pieces). You're completely justified. They need to know you're not fooling around and that whatever trickery they pull can and will be noticed.

Apart from what happened today, my opinion regarding EB hasn't changed; I'm not buying from them again, not direct nor from Diamond. Rambo was an exception since there aren't any figures of the character that come close to looking this good.

Well, congrats on a full replacement that works. I'm done dealing with EB and plan on my own fix at this point. It's just my luck that they chose not to replace mine and sent the same piece of s--t defect back to me.....

Really sorry to hear about your replacement DeathAsylum, Enterbay have a lot to answer for in regards to your situation. Just to let everyone know, and it may come as a shock to all, but i have actually put my Rambo figure up for sale on eBay! Please dont ask me why as it was a tough decision and a regrettable one at that. Its just that i have so many more items arriving in the next few months and i literally dont have any space for it as i have already over 40 Premium Formats still packed away in their respective shipping boxes in my spare room waiting to be displayed, not to mention all my pre orders which are on the way at the beginning of the year! My Rambo display case is HUGE! It turned out to be bigger that i anticipated and looking back now i think i wouldnt have made the diorama so big :slap

The eBay listing is just for my figure (including the custom jacket) and with all the accessories and original packaging only, although i would be willing to sell my display case and diorama but only if it was picked up personally as the case and diorama are HUGE and EXTREMELY HEAVY so couldnt risk it getting damaged! Hence why my listing is mainly a UK/Europe only auction...

A very sad day indeed and part of me hopes it doesnt sell but i have already had an offer of GBP700.00 for the whole display...:monkey2

Sorry to hear that Robertobagg10....:( But I understand your decision with so many items just sitting in boxes. I also have a room in my house filled with boxed figures waiting to be put on display, but don't have enough time, or room to actually do it.
After receiving my Rambo figure yesterday in such poor condition I have been debating on whether to sell at a loss, or fix. EB has really let me down in this whole experience to the point where I don't even care about the figure anymore. I love the HS on this figure, but everytime I look at this figure all I can think about is how lame EB is. Decision time in the next couple of days I guess....:dunno

I'm a huge Rambo fan, but with all the problems with this figure am glad I passed, and the people that talk about it most here are selling it, not a good sign. In the end I really love the head sculpt on it, but the price is way to high for a figure of this quality. The last story of a collector getting back his figure still defective from Enterbay repair is so pathetic. This figure should have been priced at $250 tops, that's all it's worth, and that would be high. If I would've preordered this fig directly from Enterbay and seen all the quality issues I really be pissed after spending $400.

I am in a small handful of customers that got a crappy figure. I also seem to be the only one that got a bad repair. I just wanted everyone to know about my situation and how EB handled it. I think this figure is worth the price if you get good shoulder joints and a glued torso, but sucks if you get a defect like me. The only advice I can give is don't buy it direct from EB cause the CS and Repair dept. suck. I think if someone loves Rambo and wants a great looking Sly HS, then don't be afraid to purchase this figure from a dealer in your country that has a good return policy. :wink1:

Also, I was one of those people that PO'd this figure from EB the day it went up and had know idea about issues yet. :-(

Hi Balboa, please dont be so quick to judge the Rambo figure without seeing it in the flesh. It really is a fantastic piece and my decision to sell was only due to me underestimating the size of the display...it just takes up too much space! The figure is without doubt the best representation of Rambo by any manufacturer including companies such as Hot Toys and HCG...i really dont want to sell it. Yes, there have been a few teething problems that a few other members have had in regards to their figure but if i was a massive Rambo, like you are, then i wouldnt hesitate in buying it. It is so versatile and can be displayed in so many poses, thats due to the amazing accessories you get with it. Yes, it is a liitle expensive but thats what these 1/4 figures will cost now, especially with Hot Toys joining the game with their latest 1/4 releases...

:goodpost: Well said. I think it's just my bad luck and that should not be a knock on the figure itself, but EB and how they handled the situation. Every product has defects, but its a matter of how an issue is resolved. In my case it was an epic fail, but for another member here they got a brand new body without any problems.
