Ahh I see! I think based on your review, doesn't top his movie Ip Man. Do you think it's worth to buy the figure after watching the movie?

I think Chen Zhen is much more...ambitious than Ip Man, and suffers accordingly, IMO. The action sequences are spread out a bit more due to the number of different subplots and dramatic elements, but what action is there, is pretty spectacular. My impression is that they tried to do too much in one movie and the result is a bit of a mess story-wise. However, I like the Chen Zhen outfits more than the Ip Man one, personally.

You got that right! Already watched it in streaming. There are 2 things which I don't like about the film. 1st is that the english sub is very hard to understand, it's literally translated from mandarin to english. 2nd, they made the character of Donnie more like a superhero who can kick hundreds or maybe thousands of martial artist in one scene (remember that scene before he fought the boss?) Compare w/ Ip Man who fought 10 black belters which looks more realistic to me. Still I can't take away the action scenes which is always fun to see & Donnie's acting on those roles really suits him up well. I think I will pass this figure, also have you seen the final HS? It's far from the prototype pics they release..his determined looks vanished all of a sudden! (in my opinion only guys) But still congrats on those who will get this figure!

Yeah, I'd almost rather have the Ip Man head with the Chen Zhen outfits. :/ Parts is just too expensive for me though.

got mine this morning, and i must say the QC from enterbay is starting to dip....its still a nice figure but the quality isnt on par with previous enterbay figures and esp the bruce lee ones

the head sculpt looks a lot better in person, pics dont do it justice imo. i havent got time to play around with it too much, will try to post pics if i can

As long as you know they are 2 different characters of 2 different movies. Kato is actually not even a movie, he's from a tv show.

Oh yeah I'm well aware but I was really into the Kato homage suit but after getting my Ip Man and seeing how its quality is rather eh followed by more people being more critical of this piece I decided to back out.

I've heard much better things about the Kato.
