Decided to grab one of those custom ebay sets. They'll go fast I think.
At the very least it'll save me looking around for the black gloved hands and give me the option of the bear claw.

Well I got my Han & Che bodies today & .....

I'm not really as happy as I thought I would be with the Han body. I didn't know their was a rubber layer over the neck & chest area. It's a thin & somewhat flimsy layer of rubber. The paint seems to be coming off the rubber parts. The Han head sculpt fits snugly over the rubber neck, which I think is part of the reason the paint on the neck is coming off. The Han head sculpt itself is sweet though.

The Che body is alright, no thin rubber layer over the chest area, but it has it's own problems.

I'm still happy I got both bodies, but they might be my last Han & Che bodies, unless I can get them at a cheaper price. I like the HT TTM body better.

Wonder how bad or good it'll look with Bruce suit on. Just worried about the slouchy shoulders. It might not look too great.

Yeah, I think I read some bit of the Toysdaily forum where there was a guy complaining about how the paint was not covering everything around.

The body's poseability is pretty good though, right?

I didn't know it was basically the Scarface body. Imagining the body fully clothed with a Han outfit makes me like the body again :D

Edit: Yeah Cosmos it poses alright. The only thing that I get worried about posing, is if I want to move the legs forward & back. They "click" in place. Kinda feels like they might snap if not done right. Unlike the RM4.2, where the legs smoothly go forward & back. But the neck post of my RM4.2 pops off if I move the shoulders a certain way. I think the shoulder movement mechanism inside the shoulder, sometimes bumps the neck post out :slap

I think the problem with that is how small the neck post area is. I had that kind of a small issue with the Ip Man set. It gave him a giraffe neck kind of look but the clothes were big enough to mask that. I imagine the RM4.2 body will probably be the same with slightly better legs and boost in articulation and stiffness. I might just stick a random headplay thing on it later.

I think the clicky leg joint is the same as the RM-X? It seems better for posing without a stand. The ankle joints should be more fluid so having the leg click into place like that might be more proper.

Smooth leg articulation is good too but I fear for wear and tear later and having loose legs over time. It's a small problem with Hot Toys bodies. Hence why there's stands with all of their box sets so you can stick them on it. The heaviness of some costumes and accessories weigh down the figure on them and they cannot stay up without a stand. I wished Enterbay included their claw stands with the figure as I like it better than the thigh scratcher crap that comes with Hot Toys stuff.

Yeah the RMX also clicks into place, but the resistance on Han's legs require a bit more force to move, well on the one I received anyway. Which kinda makes it feel like somethings going to snap when I move them.

& yeah, I'm not much of a fan of those crotch grabbing stands HT provide either. Or the nameplates on their stands. Although I don't hate them.

I didn't think about turning the RM4.2 into an Ip Man bash. That might be cool, since I don't have the figure. I might see if I can get a recast Chen Zhen sculpt with Ip Man hair :D

Getting my set tomorrow (would have been today but it needs a stupid signature and nobody is home during the day). Can't wait! If anyone needs the Kung Fu outfit, let me know, I don't have a use for it.

I am buying it together with some friends to cut down on the shipping charges. I think when he purchase it online, it is already stated dispatch in Feb 2012. I think I just need to wait abit longer this time.

Got my set today. Have to say I'm disapointed. Not sure what all the praise is for. Blind Enterbay followers I guess.

Han has horrible paint job on the body. Its like a bad spray tan. He even has tan lines. No joke. You turn the arms at a direction other than the pose he was sprayed in and he has pale skin there. Plus the rubber torso even had pant rubbed off the stomach. I've heard about the neck area, so I kinda expected that, but just being in the box caused the belly rub.

Plus Enterbay just shipped these in their clear plastic 'boxes' without any support any any king. These boxes are flimsy to begin with and shouldn't be used as shipping boxes, even if they are wrapped in paper :cuckoo:

I'm just glad I had no plans on using this body topless or any other stage of undress. I'll probably still be contacting Enterbay. Very poor service directly from the source. And people thought Sideshow takes no care by using brown shipper boxes :lol

I got mine the same way...Plastic box, with paper wrapping... Came crushed but bodies unharmed:slap i used the body and replaced my Saturday toys han body so im ok with it now.
ill be selling off the che head have no use for it.

My package finally got through the customs. I think I should be getting it tomorrow or Saturday.

Yeah I read about the skin tone painting, but I didn't think it would be a problem since my custom will be clothed 110%. I think they painted it either assembled or just sped through a lot of them in a short time.

The plastic boxes bit sound like how I received my RM-X but I didn't have anything damaged.

RM-X, RM-4, RM-4.2 & RM-5 all using the same clear plastic box. Please contact Enterbay about the body problem. Hope that they will look into it and solve it.

To me, the clear plastic box is not a good package nor protection case. It will be crash easily during shipping.

Here are some pics of the body I got. I've highlighted the areas where the paint is either scratched off or was jut not applied.

Here is the same pic with the contrast increased to show it off better.

Flash washed out the neck paint rub here but you can see the unpainted areas of the arms.

The Che body is much better quality than this one. I think Enterbay totally rushed these for Chinese New Year and it totally shows. Very poorly put together. :(
