Thanks again for the link! It says (in Japanese) that the Colosseum diorama is included as part of the package, so I suppose that means the box folds out to make a background to display Bruce in front of. Hope that helps.

anybody seen pics of the fold out dio? i'm worried it'll be just cardboard and cheap lookin. only pics i can find are of the photo albums u get for preorders.

Forbiddenplanet.co.uk has a description of the box and diorama. Sounds like it's a fairly high quality affair. And the figure looks fantastic!
:chew

I have the Game of Death version that came out a while back- Absolutely great quality and detail. The diorama didn't look/feel cheap at all. I can't imagine the diorama for this piece being any less quality.
I hope that this figure has interchangeable eyes like GOD does!

EB WOD Bruce Lee doesn't have interchangeable eyes, instead, those eyes are totally movable.

Just cheecked out their web site-Looks like they are using a New interchageable eye system (IES) -I'm not sure how different that is from GOD

For GOD, you need to take off the hair piece and put the pair of eyes inside the head, but the position of eyes are fixed, so you can only have total 4 different positions of eyes.

For WOD, as far as I understand, you don't need to take off the hair piece, because the eyes are totally movable. You can just turn the eye balls freely in any direction.

I love the quality of this figure and all, but I seen figures look as good as this sell for a lot less. Why do people pay out 300 or more for a 1/6 figure?

I am just curious... hehe What am I missing here? When does too much become too much?

I'd like to see an example of this.

DiD's samurais, Medicoms figures, and Hot Toys?

you seriously compare those to looking as good as Enterbay Bruce Lees?:confused::rotfl

Seeing isn't always being. You really have to have them in hand to actually realise the difference and quality of these figures. Pictures are prone to colour and lighting distortion.

I think it is a very expensive figure, then again it's cheap when you see items, such as Human Spike or a Patient Zero, asking even more than the Enterbay figures. I find it absurd, in comparison, that Hot Toy$ and Medicom figures command their prices, and people put down Sideshow, when Sideshows prices are quite inexpensive in reality, but whose reality? I used to think Sideshow figures were expensive, when I first started collecting figures.

DiD's samurai's are definitely nice. Their feet might be a tad small, and the articulation can't stand the weight of the costume. They look really great, and the costumes are quite elaborate. The Hot Toys Predators are marvellous, but the articulation is restrictive. Great looking though. The Enterbay figure, in hand, would reek of quality to a blind man, because you can feel the quality. Pick one up, you'll SEE what I mean. :lol

Well said Creech. It's easy to question why the Enterbay costs $300-ish when you've never owned or seen one in person.

I'd pay $50 of that $300 just for the packaging of the Enterbay Lees.

I ask because I want to be persuaded to buy him. He is beautiful, but 300 beautiful?

As for SS Human Spike, that is different. That is secondary prices, where as Enter Bay Bruce Lee isn't. MRSP is much higher on him than the original MRSP of the human Spike.

that dio was plastic i believe. this one is made from the packaging. new dio pics on the site look okay i guess. figure is outstanding.
hit the "preorder" section and got a popup that says in small print at the bottom "we cannot take orders from US and Canada. please contact our distributor there." went to look at the only North American distributor and the thing pops up out of my screen. looks like it's Canada tho so i'm guessing Toy Square, but they have him listed at $329. looks like u can get him for $250 straight from Enterbay. anyone know how the hell to preoder one for $250? i hate their site.

I dont agree that Enterbay is the be all end all of 1/6 but they are really nice. I think there are HT and Medicom which are just as nice (figures wise), however not as "presentable" as the Enterbay stuff. I think Enterbay's price is more of a "setting the standard" thing. It is no doubt they are hoping to revolutionize the market with their figures and have taken all the steps to do so. The fancy packaging, elaborate details and figure likenesses are all top notch. No Doubt Enterbays are like the Versace of 1/6. However if you take away the flashy presentation, the Bruce figure on it's own is also great but I'd say that there are other figures made by HT and Medicom which are comparable and of the same level of craftsmanship.

And yes, I do own Enterbay figures and have handled them extensively.

I love my GOD,thanks for the great deal Spliff.i can't wait for ETD...:chew

You guys are killing me!!! This is a great figure, the sculpt is amazing. So expensive though. I like the custom body and the interchangeable hands and eyes. They are really cool features. Have to sleep on it... the $300 cost is really painful. Does anyone know if the $250 included free shipping, although I tend to doubt it. I think this one is the best sculpt out of the group, but then again, each one looks just like bruce lee so maybe not...
