Based on Kit's response that's a yes. Pfieffer is still a go too.
Mars also did post on their post sayings " let's go" so yes but based on wait times I'm gonna say be a po soon with long wait.Based on Kit's response that's a yes. Pfieffer is still a go too.
u gonna wait like 3 years Thats not for meI'm not longer impulse buying from another 3rd party if Mars has plans on making the same figure. I don't care about the wait, at least I know I'm not getting burned like I did with Eternal.
I’d recommend brushing for an amateur- especially if you’ve never airbrushed before.Haven’t got it in hand yet, but I’m thinking I would like to lightly de-pink the head sculpt. What would be best for an amateur: dry-brush some white and grey or invest in a cheap airbrush from Amazon?
Just spray the head with some dullcoat first so the paint washes will have something to grab onto.I had the film on the other night and there is a bit of pink in his face (not to the same level as this figure).
Like you say Wor-Gar the promo images and production shots a lot of the time give him an almost Joker white face which really distorts how he looks in the film.
He is more a light grey/pink mix.
My painting has always been model cars and Star Wars ships so can do fine details and grime/lived in effects on those. This would be my first face painting so a bit different but am also thinking of a light grey wash on him to just tone the pink down.
That face could use some texture so it woud probably benefit it in the end.One concern I have with a full repaint is accidentally cracking the paint because of how soft and squishy the silicone head is...
Well just paid my invoice from Kit. I'll probably be getting this and the InArt Gandalf around the same time so Penguin here will probably take a back seat for a bit while soak up Middle Earths Mithrandir.
But my plan is to, based on what I've seen from pics and the video, I'll be shaving off all the stock hair. Giving Copplepot a gray wash. Maybe some added details if need be and Rehairing with black tibetan lambs fur.
Add padding to the body if possible or if I just need to futz with it. Either way I'm excited to get my hands on him and see what I can do. It's not ideal to have to mod these things, but I tend to end up doing mods to pretty much everything in the collection so nothing really new there.
