Everyone's Motherload of Hobbit Goodies

I asked about it just becouse I think that's a very good idea to have a display with all the LOTR and Hobbit mini swords, as I've read to someone here, and I'm going to start buying them (the Hobbit NC), but there's some LOTR mini swords that UC has done and NC not, and just would like to know if the size is good (there's not a big diference) to put both together.

I suspect the size is pretty much the same, so from a basic sword point of view, I'd doubt many could tell the difference, really comes more down to which 'display' you prefer.

I do wish UC would make an Orcrist at same scale and more or less the same type of base as the LOTR ones I have.

Very nice! I will get the floor plan at somepoint it looks great. How's the Smaug pin? I may try to pick that up at comic-con if they bring any.

Thanks Josh . Yeah, you may get these parchment prints anytime, I think they're gonna stay for a while. I'm picking them up one by one so I won't have to think about them anymore when the merchandise gets crazy again . The Smaug pin is nice, there's plenty of them I guess and not going anywhere anytime soon.

That's true I expect both will be around for a while which is nice because with other stuff I want more makes it easier to fit them in.

Just picked up the movie cover version of the LOTR (single book version) and Hobbit from B&N. Hadn't seen the LOTR one before, so I had to get it for my collection of Tolkien books.

I just found a big heavy bronze bear statue...He will be My Beorn for now...I'm in the process of painting him...did most of his face and eyes so far....He is really big and IMHO should fit in nicely...photos by early next week I hope

LOL...All I did was the Eyes and part of the head really...I gotta do nails, teeth, mouth, nose, etc...got the colortone brown enough on the head...I gotta lighten brown the rest of his body...still looks too black/dk brown for me...still testing/playing with shades of brown,etc...I personally think he makes a fine Beorn for now...He's about 16 or 17 inches tall and weighs about 25 lbs...I will try to put him on a Weta style Base too
