Thing I really like about this sculpt tho is how placing the head a different way can create a totally different expression.

Though likeness wise this one is hit or miss depending on the angle you look at him from.

Wish I had that sculpt that's awesome! I got the army of darkness beto sculpt plus some of his others! I love that everytime they get better!

Finally satisfied with my Evil Dead 2 Ash paintjob. I like the panic in his eyes.

Beto did a terrific job IMO, all I did was paint him up and tone his nose down a bit, was only a mm too long imo.

No it's a Really old sculpt I have this one as well.

It's a véry old sculpt, like 2 years old or so, just never painted it up because DarkArtist wasnt responding and that was demotivating. I caught new hope recently and went on a painting spree. It's a terrific likeness, and Beto's second best sculpt imo.

I actually sanded it down a bit, people immediatly recognize him as Ash!

I love the expression, it's SO evil dead 2!

2009? Damn. Took me 4 years to paint this. xD

A true testimony to your skills is this comparison IMO, for your first work it is truly amazing!

PS: Wish you had made a bottom row of teeth though. Looks a bit wonky from certain angles.

It's a great sculpt personally I like it an artist has an Interpretation of the character just like Rocco Caine etc each artist has a unique sculpt and personally for me I really like this one! I'm waiting on an old sculpt from beto to come threw but he's a busy man so I have to wait a lil longer..... Headless ash atm aha. Beto what year did you do the Army of Darkness ash Sculpt?

It really is a solid and fun sculpt. A bit of a caricature of Campbell... but that also works really well for the film. If I ever happen upon one I'd definitely snap it up for a pre-chainsaw weilding look

Campbell is a caricature of himself in ED2.
