Time for some new customs!!

Storm Shadow (1988)

Sideshows interpretation is a nice looking figure, but is not the 1988 version. So with Spider's help, I was able to make a correct version. The mask is a nice touch. I had him replicate the Ignite masks. This ment the camo pattern would where it needs to and it goes with the head wraps SS gave their ninjas. This was a pretty fun figure to make. I even made him a red backpack!

If you don't have one of Spiders SS88 suits, you are small in the pants.

Up next is Ninja-Viper.

Again, Sideshows interpretation is a nice looking figure, but is not the mail away figure we all loved. Another Spider suit and mask. Made his tabi feel out of epoxy. Still has a few tweaks.

1KOaks did a great update to the Viper, so I just had to copy him! Modified Barny Ross vest. Gave him some 25th Viper skull patches.

These are so cool dude! Way to show SS that Joes look cool by being true to the character, Not by throwing in a bunch of small and unnessary accessories. This is how I like my figures. Really dig that regular Viper.

Wow all look great Evil! The shin armor looks perfect on V2 SS. I thought about doing something similar with mine but the shin armor made by Spider works well enough, I just think of it as being made from modern kevlar. Also like how well you tied the mask there, I gave up on mine after awhile. I still need to finish up my V2SS.
Really impressed with the custom made tabi boot feet on the Ninja-Viper! They look good enough to pass for manufactured parts.
And the Viper looks Killer! That's what Sideshow should have gave us instead of their unnecessary interpretation.


I really wish Sideshow put you in charge of their Joe line, we would've had far better interpretations of the Joes and far more characters on the shelf.
