I was waiting a combine shipment of these and plus wolverine exc comiquette and I really wanted to buy them at 50 $ but unfortunately yesterday, one collector friend of mine from Turkey told me that his SSW sauron package got stuck at customs by FEDEX and now he has to spend additional 250-300 $. Considering combine shipment will increase the chance of custom problems due to bigger size and the value of the package, I decided to cancel and buy only wolverine.
BTW, I hope wolvie will not get stuck

I am very happy with SS shipping actually but the problem is due to Turkey's customs do not have a proper system. Sometimes without any reason any package might get stuck, depending on the daily psychology of the custom staff or sometimes they need to get bribery :emperor

the bad point with the custom problem is it takes so much time to solve the issue and you have to go to different departments and spend more money than what is actually required. And taking into account that I am working in Russia, it is much more difficult for me to solve any problem.

There shall be some major changes in our system unfortunately or lots of my friends will be cancelling some of their items

The status on both my "Qui Gon" and "Obi-Wan" Ex. changed to "Item shipping soon" on Tuesday evening but did not actually ship out. I thought, "no problem" it will probably ship out on Wednesday... Wrong! Nothing happened yesterday, the items just sat there waiting to be shipped...

I don't get it, did someone take a vacation or call in sick

If they had shipped out on Wednesday, I would have received them on Friday. Now "If" they ship out today, I'll get them on Monday!

Looks like UPS has its act together this time! Qui-Gon should be delivered today. I didn't want to set up a Star Wars 12" display in my office until I had eight figures, so I have been waiting a long time for this day to arrive.

I'm really sorry to hear this Gambit! Paying tax and custom fees on items is a real punishment. Looks like you are more punished then other EU collectors. SSC says it's normal for us to pay taxes and all, but that does not make it more pleasant. I can understand why all of this is keeping you from buying from overseas. Again, you are punished: you have to let go of items you really wanted to have.
