Back in stock at BBTS with August delivery, so I was able to get an order in for the Clavius suit finally! Happy to add this one to the Bowman red and Poole yellow on the shelf.

Awesome that you have the original Bowman and Poole suits FlyAndFight. I missed out on those, but picked up the reissue empty suits a few months back. Using an extra DID Neil Armstrong sculpt in the Bowman suit and Buzz Aldrin in the Poole suit for now. Figure if I don’t have sculpts for the character astronauts, might as well use real astronauts for now, haha!

Hoping someone will offer Poole and Bowman sculpts somewhere at some point. Looking forward to the Anthrapoid run for the Heywood sculpt for this Clavius suit.

That is such a cool idea for the sculpts!

To be honest, while the Poole sculpt is pretty good, the paint apps on the Bowman left much to be desired. The googly-eyed look is not good, to say the least.

Just arrived Today Preordered 2019 :)

Um... No... Ha! I liked Roy's acting, but he was terribly miscast for Haywood Floyd.
Besides- if you're in, El Toro, that makes 7 of us so far. That further reduces the cost to:
$800 divided by 7 = $114.28 + $150 per duplicate head = $264.28.
I added you to the list, and here are the people who have joined so far:

1) Anthrapoid
2) kindofblue
3) Indiana Fett
4) BACON!
5) Stephen Gentile
6) RobotCandy
7) El Toro
I'm interested.

We have a total of eight people on board for the fully painted Haywood Floyd head sculpts.

1) Anthrapoid
2) kindofblue
3) Indiana Fett
4) BACON!
5) Stephen Gentile
6) RobotCandy
7) El Toro
8) yodasan

That brings the cost per head down to $250.
($800 for sculpting and mold-making divided by 8 = $100, + $150 per painted head cast.

I'm hoping to get more people committed, to bring the cost for each down as close to $150 as possible.
Now that the suits have been released, I don't want to delay this too long.
I'll wait two or three months for more people to join, then I will start asking for payments.
When all the payments are received, I will transfer those funds to the sculptor and he will start work.

Thank you for your wonderful project and management. And we have to decide what the appropriate body for this suit is. Do you know what the best body for this suit is? Thanks again and Best regards.

It's funny; when I opened the box to look at my long-awaited Clavius suit, the first thing I saw was an owners manual for the 'TBLeague Super Flexible Seamless Body'. I think Executive Replicas is trying to tell us something... The owner's manual doesn't specify a particular model number, so I'm just going to buy whichever one has body proportions that best approximate Haywood Floyd. (I definitely will NOT choose the M36A, because it's very tall.) I like the weight of them. Their super flexibility and soft material should make it easier to get them into the suit without damaging anything. The original Dave and Frank figures do not have rubber seamless bodies, but I think at the time of their release the only seamless bodies that were available were too big and muscular. The more slender ones came out later.
