I don’t like those either honestly. I prefer something that’s squared off so you can cleanly put them next to each other. Maximizes shelf space that way.
Agreed. I use them on some of my customs because I have no choice. I think I've tried every type of stand. I thought the square clear acrylic ones would look good, but they don't.

+1 for not really feeling these stands either. Pretty cheap looking and the shiny clear acrylic top is doomed to get scratched up almost immediately with each and every figure. Not sure what sort of design would’ve been a better option though as I didn’t love the look of the previous QMX stands either.

I've tried these ball-balancer types, but not a fan of the clear acrylic. I'd prefer square or rectangular versions of these, black and no nameplate stand. Custom stands are always expensive. Top one is a hook/grabber, bottom two are custom balancers.

I thought being able to use the signature cards as name cards was neat. But Nanjin ruined that across the collection by deciding they are ‘only‘ autograph cards and so we don’t get them for TOS content since not everyone is alive. God forbid people who don’t collect autographs wanted to use those cards without autographs for displays. He should just scrap that whole feature now. I’ve probably seen more people getting autographs on the outside of the box anyways instead of that little card.

I’ve had one of these, but I didn’t like the wire showing at bottom. Good idea swapping out for crotch-grabber. I’ll try that.

My goodness, Freaks…. This guy photographs SO well! I didn’t think it would be possible for any EXO figure to knock off Saru as my all time favorite, and I’m not saying we’re there just yet, but all I can say is, wow! When you light this guy just right, TMP Kirk is amazing! The likeness is an easy 9.9!

Had to give him the full QGF treatment…

From FB

We caught a possible mistake with TMP Spock last night.

We are delaying him for another Week until the week of the 11th.

I have to wonder what kind of error can be corrected within a week on all manufactured stock.
I actually don't care when they delay for a week, but I do think maybe the reason is spurious.

It’s a guess, of course, but if the change can be made in a week, I’d assume something minor with the paint application. I did notice a difference in hair paint on a few prototypes and the fact some weren’t painted to the edges.

Naaa….if it can be fixed in just a few days my guess is it’s something like a print error on the shippers or something in that category and nothing to do with the figure itself. I think Nanjin may be planting the idea of “we’re trying to make the figure perfect” to get us to be more accepting of the delay. Which (in my view at least) is completely unnecessary.

EXO is working at ligtH speed compared To other companies which will remain nameless. So EXO delays are nothing compared to what we’ve been trained to expect. It amazes me how sensitive Nanjin is to criticism of any kind. We are with him all the way! What a few spoiled crybabies might spew on social media is of no consequence compared to the hundreds or thousands of we loyal fans who have his back! So if it’s a minor printing issue, or a shipping snafu, just level with us. We’re just happy to be getting these figures!
