EXO-6 Star Trek “The Motion Picture (TMP)” Figures

Still pleased I cancelled. It looks like The Animated Series, with a big ol' plastic beard attached. And the whole disco bones thing - what WAS I thinking when I preordered?! I don't have a spare £200 for a "fun" and "wacky" figure.

How comfortable are you guys in buying more figures directly from EXO given the recent shipping issues they are experiencing with shipment from China? Is it best to wait till BBT or SS get them?

They used a different shipper with Picard. They have since switched back to their original shipper since the new one had problems.

When Exo-6 releases a figure, I have that figure in just 2-2 1/2 weeks. Always. Through SS, Mirror Spock took 3 months from release.

Never had a problem with Exo-6 shipping. I imagine any problem would be resolved faster than the time it takes to receive your purchase from SS or BBTS!

I don't believe there will be any more problems, the end-of-December shipments were likely a one-off thing due to the changes in the shipper's tracking number system. I have ordered most of Exo-6's releases, and this has been the only shipment that ran into trouble. I very much prefer to get my figures directly, rather than waiting months for the other retailers to deliver them.

The upper eyelids aren't quite right, and he could use more gray in his beard and at his temples, but this pic off of Michael Crawford's front page has me pretty happy.

TBH, my biggest gripe is that the chain on his medallion doesn't seems too short. It looks longer and shorter from photo to photo in Crawford's review, but nonetheless, it still looks too short.

I never thought the likeness was very good, nor the body, but that aside, yes, the chain at least in this pic is way too short.

I short, this iteration of Bones is an easy pass for me, even though he's one of my favorite TOS characters. Looking forward to the TWOK version maybe—and a TOS one like QMx had done, albeit without the bodybuilder physique. Don't know if we'll ever get TOS versions again, though.
