Seems pretty straightforward to me. He’s not going to do TUC crew, and he wants to do the main 7 from the same movie.

Right but up until this point it was going to be the full crew from TUC and he's mentioned nothing will most likely get produced from TFF. The only figures of the main crew that we've seen in their movie reds have been Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Maybe he means he intends to do the crew from TUC and that TUC won't fall under Section 31.

I hope the only main crew is from the TOS or TWOK. I could care less about any of the new Treks. I’m getting too old, however, to wait around for decades for this to happen. I’m not holding my breath, or holding out hope, for an entire crew. I’ll just continue to take what I can get.

He has Chang in development. Last I heard he was doing the TUC crew as his last hurrah. Pretty sure I heard him say TWOK was only going to be the four plus Khan

This is why I'm confused...first he says we're most likely not getting the crew from TUC, then mentions the red outfits should all be from one movie but we know he's not doing all seven characters from TWOK

The Undiscovered Country crew will not be Section 31 figures. That's how I read it. Numerous time's he's talked about that being his swan song, and it's one of the only things he's been fully consistent about.

Agreed, after re-reading it all, that's what I get out of it now.

75% of what he babbles about is all mind game. I would not take everything he say as gospel. On one hand, he would openly say “ experts “ are telling him what to do and he won’t take part in any feedback but on another hand, he would change his stories constantly throughout as part of his marketing spiel.

I just looked mine up and I don't think it has actually shipped yet either which is odd.
