Well, keep in mind that it’s Admiral Kirk from TWOK and back to Captain Kirk in TUC. Those uniforms held some memorable differences.
I might have to get both.

Yeah, I know Kirk’s rank changes after TSFS. The uniform is fairly similar though. I dunno maybe I’ll get them both. Just doesn’t feel completely necessary.

I never cared as much for that gold piping in front of the Admiral's uniform. I think it works better with just the black piping.

No, we’re getting the full crew from The Undiscovered Country. We’re getting Kirk, Spock, and McCoy from The Wrath of Khan.

I’ll probably get every TOS character. Just cannot justify getting every secondary characters but the latest TUC Klingon is getting harder to resist

I feel like her head might be a smidge too wide in the straight on view, but she did have a pretty wide face.

I think this is a situation of lens distortion. Although more than that it's all about relative proportions here. If you compare the photos, prototype to screenshot, you can see the width and length of her hair is much fuller in the proto, which throws off the sense of width of her face. Also, look at the neck and the space from her chin down to her shoulders. The body and suit needs to be relaxed a bit more.

I think it's a good sculpt and easily recognizable as the actor/character. The eyes seem to be off, a little small sad and tired looking compared to how she looks in that screenshot. There may be another shot that shows her with that expression, but I do remember her having big eyes and she was one of the more "emotive" Vulcans of all Star Trek.

The dilemma for me is movie era Scotty, as Doohan had a medical condition that meant he gained weight into his sixties. TMP and TWoK is peak Scotty for me. After that, his appearance changed quite a bit. Nanjin has said that TUC Scotty will come with a standard uniform (presumably based on his Captain's uniform from STIII) but I might have to go for a custom head. Same with Chapel. I have absolutely no doubt that a TOS version will be made but TMP is peak Chapel. Still if he is contemplating a limited run of McCoy in white uniform, mabe we will get a similar run with Chapel. A TMP sculpt with hair could double for Lwaxana with a simple change of hair sculpt.

Yeah, he mentioned Scotty getting 2 editions like Picard. Probably my most anticipated TOS figure tbh. I hope they make it possible to swap in a TNG combadge on the vest

I couldn't be more excited about the UC figures. Chang, Sulu and Valaris are great offerings. I know there are a lot of differences between WOK and UK Kirk, but don't know if it's very practical at EXO-O's price point. We'll find out I guess.

Interesting. I have absolutely no doubt there isnt enough demand for an Exo-6 TOS Chapel. If Exo-6 isn't doing Yeoman Rand, there won't be a Chapel. We'll see...

I personally would jump at almost any and every TOS main cast figure, including Chapel, Rand, and Gorn Capt. And let's not forget the great Ruk! I can do without that... prop Kirk is wielding against Ruk, though! That's about a dozen figs not including any Klingons! That's really the only series that I would splurge on. But I doubt that we will see all those.
