Nice to know that Janeway should be coming soon. I ordered her from Collectorzown as I didn’t know there would be more available with EXO-6 directly.

Mine is paid in full already, but I know I’ll be be waiting until they get their stock in.

He's bought regardless but I have to be honest he didn't fill me with confidence the way the previous three did.

This might be an EXO-6 trait. We are the producer, I don't see a reason for us not to improve anything if it doesn't affect the production timing. Some improvements I wouldn't even know until after the fact.

Picard packaging is a good example. I only need to inform the team, "make it better without paying extra." Then it was done. Picard used a temporary measure to settle my request. Then when Picard was going out the door then we redesign the packaging. As of now, I don't even know how it went. But I have trust of the dudes at the factory. We all had the same goal. We work like Navy Seal.

I'm surprised people still PO from others. Financially it makes sense but if you've got the funds and are a huge fan I don't get it.

I agree that I prefer to order direct, but I get it... I would say lots of factors here, but it boils down to individual comfort levels. Some people don't mind extra wait if it means they deal with a company they know and trusted before.

It's a new line and company. I'm sure some of those people are making the calculus that if Exo-6 folds without producing anything, they aren't potentially out $20/figure. The Anovos costumer debacle comes to mind. I never ordered from them, but I've been burned other times... like the Indy fedora I ordered 10 years ago now and never got.

There are probably others that put articial constraints on themselves like "I hate PayPal and aren't giving my cc info to yet another company..." etc. I do that with regard to the whole Paramount+ thing, and really haven't watched the new series as a result.

Also, some people probably don't ever go to the Exo website and just wait for a newsletter from BBTS, Sideshow, whoever. They're fans but they aren't obsessive "Freaks" like us

I'm sure there's lots of other individual reasons I haven't thought of, but as long as everyone's happy w their choices, that's all that matters.

You can also do the payment plans - which personally is a lot easier to work with than just getting a random bill in your email at an undetermined time.

BTW, has anyone else NOT gotten the Janeway balance due email? I keep checking for it. I was one of the unlucky "second batchers," but it seems like everyone got it but me...

While I always enjoy rewards and reliable sellers, I’m sure ordering direct from Exo is a huge win for nanjin - id imagine it bets him a huge increase in profit over a distributor, which can lead to increase investment in the line.
