She is good because the base sculpt is good. One of the best female sculpt that I have seen (not many just enough). We had Seven ready to go on presale months ago. We even spent money for her product picture. But the paintup just not there to bring out the beautiful likeness.

I don't show paintups that we can NEVER reproduce. I am not going to show you a head that costed as hundreds or even thousands to create and tell you that's what we are selling. Although a "final product" disclaimer can shield me from all claims, I see that as an intentional misleading.

We will not show anything we can't reproduce.

Seven went back to production for paintup improvements. I am not talking about one head, I am saying a producable paintup improvement with Seven.

The final result was satisfactory and the sample arrived in my hand after Mission Chicago.

We are a production based company, Seven dragged too long and we can't wait any longer, plus she is already over spent on development. Time and Money do not allow me to do another product pictures. Then, I myself really don't like to beg factory to make the exoskeleton. I had to beg for open order otherwise we have to make A lot less than demand.

I understand the product pictures make a huge difference in presale. But we ha e to move on. We can't wait any longer. She has to face her own fate.

BTW, I can't post our paint reference, too good looking.

I am ready for Seven to meet her fate…to my curio cabinet alongside Janeway, the EMH and Tuvok when he arrives.
Thanks as always, Nanjin, for the backstory.
I doubt "disappointing" can be associated with her at this point. You will see what's disappointing when you see the product pictures 🤣
How about a proper look at Chakotay now that Seven's PO is official 😊
About a month before Tuvok delivery you will see or preorder the next character.

Seven was an easy must buy figure for me. The PO date is fantastic news. Now to wait for Tuesday.

I am committed to supporting Exo-6 and my own desire to have as many 1/6 scale Star Trek figures as possible, so Seven, and any and everything else that Exo-6 releases, will be preordered either way.
Everything has has hits and misses. Seven may just be the weak link in the line, but it’s still a 1/6 scale Seven of Nine figure that will complete my display nicely.

We have seen a great paintup of this sculpt before, that shows just how good the likeness really is (from the eyes I'd say it's almost certainly the work of 357partment). But not sure how much the sculpt has been tweaked since then.

I realize it's something production could never match, but I still love seeing these amazing paintups anyway. :)

Something about Seven.. I dunno. She looks good but not great at this point to me. Maybe I’ll feel different when I see more pictures. The hair looks weird to me.
I think it’s the angle, the neck line is very aggressive. In previous front facing head shots, she looked better. The facial sculpt is better than Janeway IMO.

Seska -21 (really surprised by this one)
Hirogen - 17
Kes - 17
Queen Arachnia - 14
Adm Janeway - 11
8472 - 11
Icheb - 10
Capt Proton - 9

The demand for these characters coincide with expectation except Seska. She was never considered but has the highest recommendation toll. Very interesting. Currently planning to let those who purchased Janeway to choose 3 out of 10 choices. Looking at 5 characters per year for Voyager on top of regular VOY releases.

Sorry but Seska, Icheb and Kes over Annorax, Tuvix and Lon Suder is ********.
The counter to that is that Tuvix, while a great concept and episode that sparks a lot of debate, for example, was one episode that overall didn't have lasting impact on the series.

Kes was a main cast member for half the series, and Icheb about as close as you can get to one and not be. I can see the argument to be made. It all comes down to what represents the series to you.

I'm probably about 1 of 4 people on the planet that would buy an Admiral Paris. To me, he's the character that represents the end goal of home in a figure display. You could also say he was only a bit player that could easily have been filled by any generic Admiral character. Neither is wrong.

Hmm! So, this just means that we have to buyout every Voyager release to create enough demand to keep releasing new figures until we get an Annorax. He probably wasn’t toooo far down the list….

I've never understood the love for Icheb myself. Just seemed like a moody ex-Borg teenager with a boring alien design to me.
I love Icheb! You can break down any character simplistically to make them seem dull. Data is like “robot Pinocchio”, but he’s still endlessly fascinating. I like the idea of seeing a moody ex-Borg teenager, and loved seeing him develop further in Beyer’s books.
