terrorists are terrorists. Dont really care why they did it. There is no excuse that would change anything. Just shoot him in the face and let's be financially done with them as much as possible. No point in catching him alive to let him milk millions out of our legal processing that would probably take years to complete ....

It's not quite that simple. You may not care why they did it, but it is a fact that many others would like to know. First of all, there are many practical reasons for this. One being that authorities most likely want to get someone alive so that they can interrogate him/them and tie all possible loose ends. Make sure that there are no other bombs or perps. You gotto get them all. You have to know who did and why.

And as far as I have seen many documents and interviews about school shootings, terrorist attacks, Breivik-case etc. it is the families and relatives of the victims who usually would like to know why. They just want somekind of a closure. In most cases the perp usually cowardly kills him(or her)self after the act, so he can't be brought to justice and to answer to those he hurt. It just bothers many, because they can't get any answers.

Anyways, hopefully they catch the last one (unless they already have). Then we will know more. And don't worry; if he is quilty, he will answer for that for sure.

That's not how I understood it. I thought she said she didn't believe it at first and "the man" was using her nephews as scapegoats, but after she saw the evidence how can she deny their innocence. That's how I took it.

My question is though, "why" doesn't he turn himself in if he's such a great kid?

But I agree with occulum. Make it cheap. That was our biggest mistake in Iraq and Afghanistan. Every cent spent on helping those countries was a vomit inducing waste.

these kids arn't really considered terrorists though, just nut jobs. There is a line between bing a mass killer and an act of terrorism. Where that line is though seems to be sketchy. This act was terrorism though, setting up bombs and walking away.

Most home grown terrorist's screw up in the end. A guy with a bomb in his pants that wouldnt go off, a guy trying to blow up Tim Square, and many others. Of course it is a good thing they are caught before, or their plans don't work out. Otherwise, there would be a lot more people dead.

Seems like race for too many people. IMO it's just denial, these kids are terrorists, sorry but nutjobs doesn't cut it. Holmes was a med student, maybe more intelligent than you and I before he did what he did. No one called the police because he was wandering around nude screaming in the middle of the night everyday. He wasn't crazy until he made the decision to shoot up a theatre. Dorner was a respected cop for a while, he was military, he led a normal life for over 40 years. You could say a terrorist isn't crazy until he makes the decision to be a suicide bomber in the same light. In the end every terrorist is a nutjob because they choose to murder or take extreme action against innocent bystanders. If their motive is to inflict fear on a group of people they don't agree with they are terrorists. Look at Timothy Mcveigh and Ted Kaczynski, this has been going on a long time.

Yea the people going on the news and saying hes "still a great guy" are going to get beat up later. He murdered women and a kid and assassinated a cop, ran his own brother over, doesn't speak to his wife, child, family. Great guy.

Every news station is reporting that when they came across the police and one brother was shot to death, the surviving brother got into the car and ran his brother over to get away.

The one now dead, died at the hospital, was shot so many times the doctor couldn't count, had flame or thermal damage, lots of lacerations from glass, and had been run over. He was also wearing an explosive vest. (From the Doc himself)

The one now dead is also married with a kid but no one knows where the wife and kid are and people who knew him didn't even know he was married.

The Uncles(2-3) are all saying they didn't speak to them in 3 years and the family had trouble but all refuse to say what trouble. The dad was just now interviewed in another country and insists the kids are innocent and set up and were murdered by police.
