The student visa program, if it's anything like ours, not only offers a revenue stream for universities, it is also a valuable education and cultural exchange program that allows the US to build and maintain social and economic networks built on mutual interests and understanding. Tighten things up procedurally sure, but the US should be wary of pulling down the shutters on foreign students in response to this act.
