I would say so. Sideshow doesn't sell damaged items, especially numbered items.

I don't think ebay would take it off if people complained, I think Sideshow would have to directly email them over the listing.

That seller said "This is an returned item but 100% authentic from Sideshow, therefore, the painting and workmanship may not be prefect. "

Can that get him out of trouble ??

I don't know guys but this seller needs to stop. Not only is he selling these things to collectors that may not be aware of what's going on but he is also hurting everyone who has ever purchased a numbered collectible. Sideshow does not sell returned products so these are in fact not part of the limited run and therefore fakes.

Also, look how the seller chose to do a short listing to try and get away with this sell.

If anyone of you have received an Iron Man or any other item that you feel may be fake, please report it as so to ebay. The only way to get this to stop is through action.

Ghettoenhanced said he saw one of these in person at Frank & Sons Collectible Show here in CA yesterday. The dealer at first said he got it from Sideshow direct, then he changed his story and said he got it from ebay. This guy has to be stopped, it's unfair to those of us who actually got our exclusives from SSC.

He has two figures up.

The excuse that it is a returned figure with bad workmanship, etc. yaddayadda might be his cover for it being a fake.

Maybe Sideshow doesn't sell returned items to the general public, but they may have a dealer who buys to sell on ebay. Have they said they don't do this?

The only reason I bring this up is because a while back people were up in arms about an ebay seller who sold a lot of returned Master Replicas goods. He turned out to be legit according to MR reps who post to RebelScum.

Someone asked about damaged buying items, I think thay said they were destroyed or something like that I cant remember of find the thread.

We can't know unless SSC decides to comment, so this is all conjecture, but it appears that there were a significant amount of Iron Man exclusives that were put together incorrectly. They were either sent back by SSC or didn't get past quality control and should have been destroyed. But instead of eating the costs because of their mistake the factory may have sold them out the back door, or an employee snuck them out.

This is all just a theory of course, but much more likely then these being bootlegs.
