At the courthouse, he looks perfectly reasonably sized and isn’t towering over the average men and women around him as this figure would suggest he should were it scale accurate.

In this instance, it’s Superman being portrayed as Cavill’s height.

Affleck is a few inches taller than Cavill and the InArt figure works out at around 6' 3.5". Batman's gonna have to be 6'6" in 1/6 to look like he should.

Well, saw those new Jaxon capes on Kits site for $15/ea, used some rewards and got ‘both for under $20 lol so I’m not too bummed if for some reason I don’t like ‘em 🍻

I too am hoping they’re a little darker than the stock InArt cape, so we shall see!

Just fyi, that $15 is just the deposit. Full price for the capes are $65 for the drape and $75 for the wired if I remember correctly

You’re not wrong, lol! It is millimeters, but that’s how insane some of us are about this stuff (I’m pointing a finger at me here). But yeah, I’ve seen some get the stock cape looking better with some futzing too. So a new cape isn’t really necessary for the normal collector. But I like the effect of the Unreal. Plus it has a darker richer red color that I like.
Water would probably flatten the cape to the shoulders.

Oh! Lmao! Well you’re absolutely correct and I 100% failed to read the fine print 🤣😅 welp, looks like I’ve committed unless I decide to eat the deposit.

Maybe I am just easy to please, but I really like both of the stock capes.

I think our mileage varies between all of us lol.

For me, it’s also not a big deal enough to upgrade, but I definitely can see why some prefer to. The way both Unreal and Jaxon capes sit is more flush along the traps/shoulders and the darker color of the Unreal cape is better to a decent extent, albeit subtle. Personally haven’t watered the stock cape down yet to make it sit more flush, but I’m sure it’s possible.

Are they glued to the leg more than the Hot Toys?
Not sure if it is “more” glued or not. And as it is you can more than likely do the calf mod and then glue the boosts back.

But I would be very careful about doing anything that might result in the boots wrinkling at the ankles the way they do on the BvS figure

Just got the figure…I think it looks pretty good, the face is decent but I can’t believe how fragile and thin the suit is.
Just moving the arms and legs about a bit and it feels like your finger is going to go through the suit.

Yes, the suit feels very delicate and slides around quite a bit when you touch the figure. However, the suit is much more durable than it seems.

I’m not saying that you should go wild and handle the figure roughly or put it in extreme posses for prolonged periods, but there is a lot more stretch than you probably expec.

While doing my modification I had to stretch the fabric on him quite a bit without any problem
