Favorite Anime Music

Since there's already a thread for video game music in the video game section, I figured it would be nice to have one for Anime as well. I'm surprised there was never one.

I'm currently listening to Gundam Seed Destiny Complete Best. Out of all the Gundam series, Seed and Destiny have the best soundtracks I've heard with an impressive lineup of artists.

Basically anything by Kevin Penkin, particularly for Rising of the Shield Hero S1 and Made in Abyss. Joe Hisaishi of Studio Ghibli fame is great too, and I'm a big fan of Hunter X Hunter's music generally.

Fist of the North Star had some great themes. The second opener, Silent Survivor is my favorite from the series.

I watched the series once and cried my eyes out, and the song stuck in my mind ever since.

Haikyuu, a show about highschool boys volleyball has no reason to be so epic. Same composer (Yûki Hayashi) worked on My Hero.

Cowboy Bebop is the only anime that I actually bought a CD set for back in the day and I listened to it so much.

Same here. I had the 4 disc CD set and listened to the hell out of it. The Seatbelts had some live concert versions on the CD version I had.

Psh. Some of best openings are rock songs. Those old school 80s openings are a vibe tho
