Favorite Friday the 13th movie?

My favorite is either part 1, 2, or 3. All three of them are pretty creepy. The rest I like, they just aren't that scary.

Jason goes to hell was bloody horrible. Ranks as one of the crappiest flicks ever....The intro where Jason gets gang raped by the army and the freddy reference at the end were the only decent scenes in that whole movie.

parts 1-3 are creepy as hell. I still get scared seeing them. The one I hate the most is new blood. The Jason scenes were cool but I hated that Tina girl and her telekenesis crap... Lame.

I voted for the first film, but it was a close call between that and part 4. But like others have said, you cant go wrong with the first 4 or 5. I used to think Jason Takes Manhattan was terrible but now i kinda like it in a trashy sort of way. Haha.

Part 4 is my fav. It would have been a tough choice, but the remake was not included in the poll. So 4 it is! One of the few Jason's that I'm actually afraid of. "Die! Die! Die!"

I am afraid of the 2nd and 3rd one. That dream sequence in the third film where he has his mask off and is smiling at her through a window and then runs to attack her is creepy as hell. Also in part 2 when the girl is in a car and bag-head jason just pops his head up and looks at her; or when she thinks she has lost him in his house and you see him running to the house through the window... Pretty creepy.

1-4 all work as the best ones for me. I'll vote for 1. Great score, original concept & a great kick off to a cool series of films. Harry Manfredini told me that Jason's theme was his voice oversampled/modified saying "Kill Ma.".
