Favorite Friday the 13th movie?

The great thing about 1-6 is that the really feel like the could be an old universal horror film. The other ones lost that but still love all of them

I have to go for part 3. I also really enjoyed part 8 as a kid. I know, not the popular vote, but Jason whacking kids on the cruise ship was a darn good time.

Slightly off topic but not entirely, but i've just watched the remake. i'd heard it was absolute garbage so wasn't too fussed about seeing it but wanted to make up my own mind. I actually thought it was ok. Not as good as the older films in the series but still, not bad. Just waned to share. Haha.

1, 2 and 4 for me (though not quite in that order). The others can still be enjoyed, to varying degrees, as fun cheesy schlock, but those three are actually good quality slasher film horror in my opinion.

If you take in account that Mrs Vorhees was the camp cook then its possible she had Jason partake in the camp activities including archery.

It changes, depending on the day/my mood/etc., but right now, it is the Final Chapter. Great death scenes, the best Jason look (same as part 3), and freakin' Crispin Glover being Crispin Glover!
