My favorite flavor is mint chip even though I have lots of other favorites. I also like sundaes whether it's hot fudge, pineapple or strawberry. What flavors do some of you like? Do you have a favorite place?

I come from a family of ice cream lovers and believe me if you don't like ice cream then you're considered the black sheep of the family.

There used to be this place here called Farrells............you could order this thing called the ZOO.............TWO people brought it out carrying it on their shoulders, and yes it took two people, it was in this huge dish and like 10 people could eat from it.............OMG was it GOOD>>>>>>>>I just found out there is still a Farrells in Hawaii.............wish I lived there......

ZOO SUNDAE (Serves 1-10): Sooo huge it takes two strong people to deliver it to your table. Their knees sag under five flavors of our famous ice cream: three fruit flavor sherbets, five delicious toppings, whipped cream, bananas, nuts & cherries.Extra portions available.

I definitely remember Farrells they were awesome. We use to have them here in Northern California years ago. Man I miss that place.

I used to get scared when I was much much younger (<6) and went to Farrells and they would play that big drum during birthdays. My parents told me I'd hide under the table. :lol:lol:lol I think I still have repressed nightmares about that black and white checkered floor.

:lol:lol That's hella funny. I remember when people were eating, it would be super quiet and then all of a sudden BOOM!!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!! Yeah man it would catch you by surprise, so I can understand where it would scare the crap out of a kid.

This is one of my favorites, though I'll eat anything that has chocolate in it but no nuts other than peanuts.

Well pretty much all my favorites have chocolate, and I can't have that anymore. :monkey2 So I guess my favorite right now would probably be a toss up between Butter Pecan, and Cherry-Vanilla.

Spumoni. The kids didn't like it, so there was always ice cream when I wanted some. Same with my favorite soft drink Vernors. Kid couldn't stand it, so when I wanted something to drink I could find it.

Haagen Daz coffee :drool

There's a local deli here called Husky Deli that makes their own icecream. Their stout ice cream is very good. Also love their lemonade ice cream....tastes like lemon custard. :D
