Goo-ood choice!
Again, for me, far too difficult, just too many.
Although, the elevator shot in Superman Returns is right up there. So empowering, when that tune kicks in.
Final duel between the ronin in Yojimbo when Mifune, with one lightening fast stroke, cuts his adversary in half.
In Tombstone, Doc Holliday's (Val Kilmer) "I'm your huckleberry."
Final scene of Psycho....Norman Bates (Perkins) staring into the camera with that very spooky smile.
Frodo at the Council of Elrond (FOTR, natch) in the midst of the hubbub among the differing races pipes up: I'll take it. I'll take the Ring to Mordor ... though I do not know the way. His innocence in that simple but fateful statement and Gandalf's reaction (relief that Frodo volunteered mingled with a sadness that he knows Frodo will suffer for it).
(FOTR again) Boromir's death scene with Aragorn's "I do not know what strength is in my blood, but I swear to you I will not let the white city fall..." and Boromir's "I would have followed you my brother, my captain, my king."
Final scene of Citizen Kane...as the clutter is being burned in the furnace, close in shot of a sled in flames...Rosebud.
In Rio Bravo, Dean Martin and Rick Nelson singing "My Saddle, My Pony, and Me".
In The Great Escape, the US Independence Day celebration.
In The Quiet Man, the entire knock-down drag-out fistfight through the countryside between Wayne and McLaughlin.
In The Searchers, final scene when everyone happily enters the cabin and Wayne is framed by the door and he takes his left (?) arm and wraps it around to his right arm looking in....ever the outsider and misfit...then turns to ride away.

For movies without a doubt the most electric atmosphere I have ever been in was when as an 8 year old I saw Return of the Jedi. The moment when Vader lunges for the Emperor and throws him into down the shaft the entire theater erupted. Hands down the coolest theater experience in my life.

When Jake and Elwood go to see the "Penguin" at the beginning of the Blues Brothers.
The last few lines of Nothing in Common between Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason.

I remember at the time that the Beatles Anthology was being released and David Letterman had just moved into the Ed Sullivan theater, rumors were rampant that the surviving Beatles were going to reunite for this one time on this 30th aniversary of the British Invasion and to celebrate Letterman's move to CBS... and David played it up pretty good.
There came a moment were David addressed the rumors and told the audience he had a special surprise in store for them. Well the audience went wild thinking that they were going to be treated to an impromptu Beatles reunion - I thought so too.
Dave introduced the special number, the audience went wild and out walked...
Larry Melman who then treated the audience to a wonderful rendition of the Beatles "All My Loving"
That is definitely in my top 10 most memorable TV moments.
I wish I could find that on youtube.

On Superman: In the first apparition of Superman, when he save Lois from a free fall from the copter the best moment was on the roof when M.Kidder ask Superman “who are you?” and Reeve says “A friend” and then he flies. That scene with the music of J.Williams is just excellent.
On Aliens: The battle between Repley and the Alien Queen.
On The Empire Strikes Back: The battle on Hott.
On The Return Of The Jedy: When Vader takes it off his helmet and talk to Luke.
On Back To The Future: When Marty gets on the Delorean and Doc. Brown try to fix the wire on the clock tower. Also, when Biff chases Marty in the park and he uses a borrowed skateboard.

On The Phantom Menace: The light saber battle with Darth Maul.
