I thought I seen a paper I can sign so that fedex doesn't need my signature and will leave items on my door step. I am tired of having to be home for figures. :lol Does anyone know where to get the form?

from fedex or....from sideshow customer service. :D

I think that is on the little doorknob thing that FEDEX leaves when the have attempted a delivery, there is a place to leave your sg but from experience of getting chewed out by FEDEX customer Service the deal with Sideshow is that you always have to be at your house in person to sign it. I thought the same thing when I first saw it.

I thought I remember seeing something on their website. By them I mean fedex. Now I can't seem to find it.

i was thinking, if you signed a release saying a sig isn't necessary. that probably would come from sideshow, because i think their policy is items over $100 require signature.

Let us know what you find out because I realllllllly hate waiting all day for fed ex to finally show up myself... I live in the middle of no where so I'm not to worried about a package sitting outside.. unless it rainy of course... :lol

I am glad I have a decent fedex guy. All I have to do is leave a note and he will leave it.

my fedex guy gave me his cell number, in case he was running late or i wasn't at home. he meets me if i need him to. and all i did was remember him at christmas and bought him lunch at wendy's. :D

You need to request it through the Sideshow customer service forms. I believe you'll need a new one for each order (over $100).

I sent BadMoon all the info through PM and forwarded him the form through e-mail. He's all straight.

Yep there is a form from Sideshow to fill out. I still could have sworn I read something about signatures on Fedex's site. Either way I am good thanks to Kit.

Yeah, you can sign a form with Fed Ex, but that still does not apply to how SS ships stuff. A company can override what you have on file with Fed Ex and they way SS ships does exactly that.

I had to argue with MR about this because I didn't really care about the sig issue where I lived.

If the shipper sends it "Signature Required" that just means that someone has to sign for it and door hangers previously signed and notes left behind can comply, this is where you can fill out the paperwork via FedEx to avoid these.

If the shipper sends it "Direct Signature Required" then someone must physically sign for it upon delivery, no door hangers, no notes, nothing can get that package left except someone physically taking it. This is how MR and SSC send things. Now if you've got a really cool FedEx delivery guy (I do not...) they'll bypass this for you even though they are not supposed to. Most of the time though nothing you do will change it because the shipper mandated it this way.

well that blows because i have a job and im not home during fed ex's delivery time in my area which is like early afternoon. when i lived in an apartment it was ok i could set something up, but now that i have a house and live alone i guess im permanently screwed. missed out on my sidious 2pack today and now i probably have to drive to the fed ex place which is like 4 towns over and it will probably be closed anyway.:monkey2

Yea, anything over $100 is required signature set up by Sideshow. Anything less than that you can specify when you make the order through Sideshow

Couldn't you just get it sent to work... thats where all my signature stuff goes.

What really pisses me off is not Sideshow. It is the people who made them have to resort to this in the first place.
