Female collector in the midwest

Hi everyone!

My name is Sara and I live in Indiana. Although I have collected Star Wars since the late 90's, I only have a few Sideshow pieces. Now that Hot Toys has the Star Wars license, they will probably be getting a lot more of my money!

I currently own only one Hot Toys piece: Christopher Reeve Superman. I can't wait to get more from Hot Toys!

Interests: Star Wars, Back to the Future, DC, Marvel, and movies in general!

The original Superman movie has always been one of my favorites and I fell in love with the Hot Toys figure as soon as I saw it. My husband actually used it to propose to me; he hid the ring in the spot for the kryptonite necklace!

Hi Sara welcome. Superman is one of my faves too. HT did an amazing job with him. will be some good start wars stuff on the way. Chewie looks incredible. worth looking at the sideshow Vader figure. Really nice piece.

Using something Christopher Reeve Superman related to propose to you is simply amazing in my book. Just going by that your husband sounds like a really great guy.

Are you, in any way, tempted by the Sideshow Christopher Reeve Superman Premium Format that's due to ship in February? I have it on pre-order & can't wait to own it as I've been eager to add something to my collection that represents, what is, one of my all time favourite characters in the history of cinema.

Glad to know I'm not the only female on here (although I've gotten quite used to it! )!

I have an awesome husband who is also a collector. We haven't ventured into premium formats yet, but we will probably focus on Star Wars once we do (95% of our collection is Star Wars).

The Chris Reeve premium format looks pretty awesome, but I will be happy with just my Hot Toys version.
