All dry, looking relatively okay, thinking about the heights of stairs, large platforms at the back and rotisserie base now.
Intending to do more wall sections- at the back of throne, and forward floating sections to simulate the palace space.

I love this pic!!! The way it's taken makes Jabba look like he's going to ***** slap Bib for letting the Jedi in. Of course Jabba wishes he had bones for a strong forceful slap.

The blueprints have the layout schematic of the palace
but there's no elevation plans.
Any you guys got any additional pics of Jabba's stairs, spit, etc.
any help would much appreciated:

Some more assorted Jabba details- could really use a good view of those corniches and giant lampshades/ducting.

those maps both suggest the stairs on the sides of Jabba dais start before the arched curve? is that right? can anybody confirm that?

Another thing Dorgetta noticed was how high the throne is off the ground, to accommodate the rancor viewing position.
Ammended mine accordingly.

OW!! Looking good mate!! I love seeing Velken Tezeri hanging out in the back just like in the film. Good stuff!

Hey, where did you get all the extra pillows, vases and decor for your throne? They look great.


Your setup is really coming along, those steps look freaking perfect!!



Forgot to mention, I like how you have the throne elevated a bit. Im going to have to do that. Nice one!

Almost recreating that classic arch shot! ow!

Yeah that elevation of the throne, can't believe we didn't spot that till just recently.

The vase is just two pieces of metal kitchenware stuck together and painted up.
The pillow looking thing is the rock from HT's Pred Hound.

The platform at the back now has a measurement,
which is crucial for Velken, the spit, and the chimney arch
...thank the ____ing maker.

Yeah, i noticed at least one light in the arch,
its one of those holed/grated fittings with a green light,
very subdued and recessed.

Will be getting on that, (and the back lights)
as soon as the remaining stairwell and back platform
is put together, at least that's the plan...

Mate this is so cool! those steps look great and it really pulling it all together... BUT just need to say.. well a word of warning really... health and safety clearly states that leaving a bone one a dimly lit stairwell is very dangerous and I suggest you either put so signs up, cone off the area, provide adequate illumination and enforce a strict one way directive..
