Swqueaquels; mix of stuff thrown together and hot glued -dowel, plasticard, styrene, lego tecknic, rubber ,any greeblies that was available.

I'm working on the palace today, making the long table, the rod and chains, and all that good stuff that goes under the back cooking arch.
Looking at those pics above, I'm kinda embarrassed, at that stage the flat red orb lights were all kinds of wrong, I was pretty happy to leave 'em, but Senor Dorgella strong-armed me into making them as close as possible to screen accurate, compromise to dorgella is out of the question (he's a proper she-devil) and I'm so glad he did, he was right.
In the pics below you can see those flat 2d reds get replaced by 3d semi-accurate replacements, the whole trying to get it right thing becomes addictive and obsessive! it's never going to be John Barry right, but you gotta try.....I MEAN DO, THERE IS NO TRY
