Oh my bad Feroze. The Magic Bullet is kind of a blender/food processor. I use it to soften/mix my clay when I do head sculpts.

This dio is my favorite of all time man. Hopefully one day I can mimic yours in completion. Cheers dude!

Cheers Kash, the challenge with Jabba, as compared to the cantina is there's scant info on the dimensions. Even the SW Blueprint behemoth only has a plan view, no elevations, so the math to build was extrapolated from very sketchy info .The first version was hideous, but thanks to Rav and Dorg's input it got exponentially better, its not perfect by any means, but it does its job fairly well. So in the future if you do build yours I hope you like math, and have a lot more patience than I do.

Anyway, tonights build has gone pretty well.
Walls are good, corridor pieces are snug, filler is drying and all the cabling to the lights have been secured.
Some small painting touch-ups tomorrow and we're good to go.

Bless you Dorgella, but these are just test shots, nothing special, whole deal is just an excuse to reshoot the scene with non-monkey face DX Luke. The pics were about identifying where the light was erroneously bleeding in from and then to plug the holes. Soon as the Bib/ Jabba shots are done, time to move on to another corner of the universe.

Seriously though, I don't know if you are a part of any other 1/6 community, but this thing needs to be brought up somewhere important.

I want to see it on the Yahoo! news page: "Freak builds miniature Jabba Palace". It's too cool. But for fun, (and I busted Chaka's chops about this), put a Sebulba in the corner. Sandies need something to blow up this week. Or maybe under Dengars' Dewback feet.

Magpie, you can see Jabba in the Palace 1.0 few pages back, or you can wait till tomorrow and see the 2.0 version with the fat slug in residence with DX Luke cutting a bloody swathe through the palace

i know you've had some smokey shots before in your dios but don't remember if they were enhanced or what?........but have you ever thought of dry ice to give the palace a creepy misty look?.........just a thought.......

woah, totally forgot that...That smoke was real, and alot of fun,
Blowing gouts of cigarette smoke into the frame. I love getting the carcinogenic in-camera fx.

Dio prepped. Figures bashed for crowd sequence. Duane's Pote on a new body after breaking a leg, wasn't sure his glued arms would be salvageable, steam saved the day. Pics taken in the daytime so have a slightly different look. Enough talk...
