I did cringe when Dani Alves had a banana thrown at him racially and he ate it, Suarez was in the paper the next day eating a banana to kick racism out
I do wonder weather the media and pr do this for a joke sometimes . Made me giggle tho.
Maybe the Italians side of old could see out games but this one is just not good enough...Italy and England have some serious soul searching to attend to I think
Yep, looks like Prandelli has indeed resigned! Wow! Like you said Matt, he just signed a new contract taking him through to euro2016
I agree. We made an approach just before he signed his contract and he knocked us back.
Do like the look of Verratti. Looks like a star for the future.
Back to the drawing board for Italy and England....hopefully they can regroup for the next world cup. I guess it's very difficult for these nations to organize a squad of players that play together for most of the time with so many foreigners playing in their leagues. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think I read that Manchester City has only one player that's English?
They've got a few English players; Hart, Milner, Richards, and a couple of others I think.
Veratti is indeed one for the future but he's no Pirlo and he doesn't really create enough chances for my liking...only time will tell for him. Pirlo will no retire and Italy are lacking a decent number 10...there's always been a number 10
Baggio, Del Piero, Totti...and now???
They have five English players:
Hart, Milner, Rodwell, Sinclair and Richards.
Can't believe Suarez, the guys mental.
Lescott although I think he has been released.
3 of those will probably leave aswell
