Fight Night Round 4

Well, not impressed by Fight Night Round 4. The graphics aren't doing it for me, it's too cartoony. The fighting is good, nowhere near as good as in Round 3 though, IMO.

UFC Is a much better fighting game. Looks and plays way more realistic (and better) that Fight Night I reckon.

Very disappointed!

This is all form the demo. Managed to knock manny out in the 2nd round every time I played it.

I was hoping it wasn't gonna be, but it is. Miles ahead.

So much more realistic to Fight Night, from the entrances to the punches, and that's one of the things I look for in a game - realism.

It isn't with out it's good features, the inside fighting is good, and also the physics are good in the muscles, how they elongate in punches etc.

Disappointed in Fight night after my first play. UFC grabbed me and knocked me for 6 straight away, this hasn't. I hope I grow to like it!

I just downloaded the PS3 demo as well as my 360 one and i think i'll get the PS3 version the pad wins it for me with this game

The thing that i strongly dislike about this game is the button layout,in Round 3 you could go back to the classic controls,Square button=Left punch,Triangle=Right Punch.I find it hard and damn boring to use the right analog stick to throw punches,and in this game,it seems to be the only option you have.
The game looks good but i absolutely hate the button layout,i have been playing Fight Night ever since PS1(Knockout Kings) and for the first time ever i will pass on Fight Night,unless the full game have more button layouts that gives me the opportunity to throw punches with the buttons instead of the analog stick.

Yea, this is going to be the sell/no sell point for me. If it's just the analog stick, it can kiss my ass. Always preferred buttons in boxing games.

I'm pretty sure they'll have button controls though.

If it has buttons then i'll probably use the buttons like i did in FN3 but if it hasn't i'll still get it cos i really like it even though my hands get cramp playing it with the analog stick

I downloaded the demo last night, I gotta admit, UFC seems to be the better game. I'll probably end up with both though. I like the graphics better on UFC, also I'm not really a fan of the punch stick, maybe just need more time to adjust. Love that they have almost 50 fighters though!! And of course, my dude Iron Mike!!

I wish they would leave out ranked achievements it does my head in it's full of knobs that quit so you can't get the achievements anyway that happened to me loads on Fifa if they quit it doesn't count wtf? oh well won't be getting those ones not putting myself through the hell that is ranked

From everything I read on the ea sports board today it looks like the buttons are gone from the game and we are left with the fight stick. I was looking forward to getting this game but I will pass on it the fight stick is ok but is just not for me.

The character models look fine and if you like the fight stick I would buy it.

Button controls will be in the game. Just like last game, they put the controls on the stick to try to PUSH that on people, but if you go into the ACTUAL game (NOT DEMO) options you will be able to select button controls.

I want the buttons but am getting the hang of the fight sticks at least with the Demo. I'll be keeping my order.

Man, I can't believe all the whining about there being no buttons! The Total punch control (analog stick) is a brilliant way of punching, IMO! I've played every fight night the same way.
