Figma and Revoltech Collecting Thread!!

Got figma Deadpool and I like him; however, he has a hard time holding his swords and sheaths fall off super easy and his torso is kinda floppy....but he’s fun to pose and play with!

The Revo is a great figure but in honesty, I only ordered it because I didn’t know at the time there would be a Figma version. The positives: poseability and the colouring is superb, a really deep red. The main negative is the joints. Poseability comes at a cost; ugly joints, especially the elbows and soldiers. These can be hidden with some creative posing though. The swappable eyes are also really good!

Yes from what I've seen of the revo the eye swaps are my favorite! Lots of expression which is cool.

Anyone here collecting the Zootopia Kiyodo line? Those figs look awesome. I hope we get to see more figures from that line-up!

I got the Amecomi Magneto! Aside from the usual Yamaguchi design quirks, it's a great figure aside from the heavy cape. You can get him to stand with it but it can look awkward with some of the poses..using the stand helps a lot. I love the MvC-esque design and the figure pairs well with Wolverine. His paints look great, the red has a light gloss to it and black wash, and the purple has a metallic tinge to it. The little magnetic features are a nice touch as well which shows Kaiyodo's creativity with this line and familiarity with the characters (as we saw with Wolverine's cigar). They also added a pair of extra single Revoltech joints in case you want to trade the double Revoltech joints for a single.

Even though the figure struggles from the cape (perhaps an alternative fabric cape would've been great?), it's still a nice piece from the series especially when we haven't seen many Magneto figures around. He goes well with Wolverine and any other future X-Men characters.

Looking forward to Carnage! Cap looks good too, but that Carnage will knock it out of the PARK! This line keeps getting better and better. I wonder who we'll see next? I'd like to see Black Widow, Punisher, Daredevil, and Symbiote Spider-man!

Great pics

Figma Tracer came today! I was expecting great things and I’m not disappointed. A perfect fit for the character design, she looks great on the shelf. I’ll have to get some pics once my new camera is charged (today is a great day!). I’m also overdue looking at Figma Deadpool, he’s still in his box!

So I tried out my new camera last night, it’s nice to finally take photos on something that’s not a potato! Before getting to Tracer I took some initial test shots of one of my favourite Figmas.

Still early days, I need to revisit my school days and remember how to go full manual!

Preorders are up at Nippon Yasan for the Wonder Fest figma exclusives, the bride and groom. Got the bride. Lots of potential there for naughty photos of my various figmas in lingerie. Wasn't too expensive for an exclusive either.
