My Hot Toys AVP-R Alien came in today, a day early, courtesy of Sideshow!

On the shelf already and kickin' some with the other xeno-critters!

I really like this new Alien design. And, it makes me even more miffed at how HT can get the AVP aliens so movie accurate ('cept the feet maybe..look to be the ALIENS feet...), and they can't get the ALIENS one the close. There are some very fine details on this thing! And the paint job is really nice out of box! Just needed small tweaks.

Anyway, touched him up just a bit on his head and raised areas, and re-silvered his teeth as they were sorta messy. Love the new hands!

the avp-r alien looks good standing up straight. i might pick one of these up, if i have the cash to spare. Oh and the feet are movie accurate. I posted a pic a while ago .. in the aliens and robots forum. for wookster i think

Here's Damian's Miller custom complete at long last.
It's basically just the Longbow head on a Dragon fig. I really like the uniform and gear on this figure a lot, so I didn't do much other than dirty him up and set a neck extension on the body so it looked right with the LB head on it.

Took me a while to get the right helmet, and I didn't think I could get decals on that surface, so I hand painted all the details on. I also chose to go with the more muted color as seen in the movie, rather than the slightly bolder green you see in real lighting.

That's one more down....LOTS more to go....

LoL, Indy won't be complete until I get Sideshow's figure to use the gear. I've got some stuff for Bale, but I'm looking for a nice suit to use and a permanent body.

And Josh, all cylinders indeed! It's been some LONG hour days in the last week alone, trying to catch up on my way overdue stuff.

Here are some of the older sets I am FINALLY getting done. Was up late last night working on eyes on these, and hope to get a lot shipped out this week and clear some off this desk of mine, as more is coming in and more to be cast up soon...

LOTS to pack up and ship soon. Lots. So please folks, bear with me. I am getting the occasional "Where's my stuff?" emails and I need everyone to keep on understanding, and being patient. I thank all of you waiting, more than you know.

I work in weird passes (amongst my home life factors too of course), some older stuff, some new, depending on when it comes in, what I KNOW in my mind's eye, and what is already started. All that results in some older stuff gets delayed, and some newer stuff, mostly sets of five or more, gets expedited, or vice versa, depending solely on how I can get to them in the most efficient manner for me. So, I appreciate all the patience out there. I really do.
I am so trying to not rush and mess anything up. I want all of these to be top drawer.

OK, here's where some things stand...

Almost everything is started, or in some midrange area of completion. Most all singles (Solo or non-set stuff sent by folks) are in progress, and are almost done. That includes some folks that have waited a LONG time! Hang just a few more days, because I am almost done with many of those. Yes, Bwayne, your patience will be rewarded!


Sets:

The Jokers are started in this order, tans are almost done. Drippys started, but not done yet. Soon. Whites started and now, thanks to ALL Craigs being out of the way :chew can be expedited next! YEAH!

Then, the much delayed Superman sets, and then and only then, Spikey Haired Hicks. Those may be a few more weeks out, as I want to get so much loose stuff done first and mailed out, and then, start those with a clean slate. They are not all cast yet, so hang with me! I did say March, tomorrow is March. It lasts four weeks. I have some time yet.

So, there is my short report. There are so many to name, I can't name them all, but trust I am working on all of them! I am committed to finishing EVERYTHING by March 31 so I can take my much needed and overdue break.
That will only last a week or so, but I sure will need it after the last couple of months.

I will continue taking orders from folks, just know we are now into April finish dates for anything taken now, or after this date.

Thanks again all. Your continued patience, and business means more than I can thank you for. I owe you all so much. Look for more coolness VERY, VERY soon! This stuff is about to pour out! Hope you're all ready!
