Those of you who need an early Christmas present for yourself because you need Cloud & Daytrona in your life, Sugo Toys has him.
Better be quick.
Only if you want to be obliterated by the shipping. I got it from them as a last resort after not getting cloud and that shipping hurt like hell close to 200 on top of the fact they’re marking it up as it is

Just realized mine were a bit different but who knows? Hopefully whoever still have their order with them get it. 🤷

Fingers crossed, they did the same for me with Remake Cloud and then never shipped it.

Ah... hope reduced then.

Not sure if poster above ordered 2nd Class body separately, but I only received 1stClass e-mail, not the one with the 2nd Class pics, though I ordered both bodies together (x2, at that).

So far no other anime characters have been announced, I think boss probably wants to focus on FF line, but in group, some ppl request to make Sesshoumaru, I'm goingt to support that too😆

Btw, I saw some of my posts and pictures have been copied and pasted to FB FF collector group, hereby wana urge you all please keep low profile, and don't spread the pictures everywhere. If GT officially get warned by SE, it'll be really troublesome and we might not getting any new FF characters from them anymore.
(Same case as Ichigo)

Please be co-operative, guys 🙏🏻

I'm not trying to stir the pot, but I'm just curious how this works keeping companies away. If you look at some of these pages like here, GT on social media apps and another studio that makes FF statues for example, people that work for SE are members in all these pages already.

It's mostly just gate-keeping elitism, in my opinion. Next, people will say don't buy it from websites and use burner phones to buy from GT directly. After all, if they are listed for official pre-orders online what's the big difference other than time? Even retailers will post it on their instagram when pre-orders open, so what's different? Why do we even talk about these products _at all_. Third-party figures/product are very high risk. I'm a big fan, but this just seems silly and frankly unwelcoming.

I get fans want nice things, but like I said, I feel this has a strong whiff of elitism and gate-keeping.

There's already a precedent. GT stopped making Bleach figures because they received a warning. (interesting fact: Pierrot has the licenses for Naruto and Bleach, considering the rumors about the new RT Naruto figures, you can put 2 and 2 together...).

Resin statues are a different thing, there are plenty of unlicensed Bleach resins. They're only made in small runs, 100-300 max, maybe that's why companies don't go after them. No idea how many units GT produces, though.

Finally, GT Final Fantasy figures are direct competion to SE's PAK line. SE don't make FF resin statues, so no money lost from the unlicensed ones.

Is it worth sharing these photos everywhere and risk not getting more figures? There's nothing official of this quality, Square Enix figures suck. It'd be a huge loss for fans.

GT doesn’t have to share their progression photos with us either but they still do. The least we can do is not share inside sources of upcoming possible figures with outside social media platforms of figures they’re currently trying to provide us with. This is the reason they had to completely cut the ichigo figure. It’s not that hard to just look for yourselves. I don’t get the urge people get to want to plaster the photos everywhere.

Exactly what I'm saying. Like what are they on about? GT is literally killing the game right now and us keeping it on the low with them is such a hard task now? Do we REALLY REALLY NEED to share this stuff everywhere..? You'd only be ruining your chances of getting anything from them by adding more shine on their backs.. It's good that we all are the only ones who know about all their inside stuff anyway, bc we know what to expect and we'll all be the first to get them. When we talk in here about them together, we sound like a huge team.. Until someone just has to show everything to everyone else. It be them same people who can't even keep a single secret without telling everyone.. Gametoys definitely needs to be kept safe, bc they deliver quality figures in bigger scaling and greater detail than from the actual licensors themselves. GT is officially a threat.. I've never in my life seen PAK go down hill the way they are. To the point even their prices are slowly going back to normal😂 I've seen PAKs back at $80 now. And every time is bc you'll hear someone say "I'll just wait for the gametoys one, it's about the same price but bigger and way more accessories and wayyy more accurate".. As good as it is, GT is also growing bigger and bigger by the release, but it's also bad bc they're getting way more attention. And this may be a danger to them. And if people being too upset about "keeping it low sounds so unnecessary bc every other company does it" ruins my chance of getting my GT Vincent, AC Sephiroth, Cloudette, Yuna, Noctis, (hopefully Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz) and the rest.. Bruh.. Come on now..🤦🏾‍♂️😒😒😒

All we are doing is respecting GT wishes to not post their progression photos all over the internet giving them unwanted attention before they even get the chance to release them. I really don’t understand how this is such a problem for people especially if you’re a fan of their work.

Exactly it’s really not hard at all to just look in this thread and go on about your day.

It's neither elitism nor gate-keeping, while its understandable you can't stop new releases information from third party companies (since you still have to provide a deposit to get the mass production started and most third party companies don't have the capital to do a run first get money later strategy), the in production photos that were shared within the chat group are not meant for mass consumption, especially when it concerns future plans/releases because this gives a head start for official license holders to crack down on it, if they feel the need to.

Why do you think Tifa and Aerith are both pushed back in releases? Did you really think it's just quality issues that the boss is unhappy about? It's also most definitely the heat catching up to him and there are more 'eyes' looking at the company whom may now start to cut into their profit margins, especially when SE is still actively releasing various editions of PAK and statues from this series. The only way to avoid any strikes is to push the release back and hopefully the heat dies down then release pre-order information when it's ready (and hopefully nobody shares any insider information within this period).

Besides, none of the retailers pass a cut of the profits back to SE who is the original license holder of these characters (and so does other manga series like Death Note and Bleach). While it's clear there are definitely insiders (from both sides) looking at these releases, they have not pulled the trigger because it isn't cutting their bottom lines (nor worth the legal steps), yet.

Square make a lot of money off FF merch, which is often marketed as premium whilst being of middling quality. To get the PAK AC Cloud and Fenrir at the moment will cost you $380 - granted, imo that's one of the better PAKs, but for an extra $150ish GT are offering a FAR superior package in terms of value for money with their AC Cloud & Fenrir set. When you think of it like that, you can see why Square would view GT as attempting to directly compete.

I never said anything about it being ok risking photos, etc. I wasn't challenging the notion that we shouldn't either. I was making sure people are just aware that SE lurks on this board and everywhere. A friend of mine works for them and I know he/she is definitely aware meaning they all are. I was just wondering if anyone knows what makes a company take action or not? Basically, is sharing pics even here at a smaller community safe?

It'll be a lot of work, but on Facebook, etc. we could start messaging people when they post GT hauls in certain pages just so they know better. I mean, some won't care, but there will be others that will listen.

Oh really? Had a quick scan of the usual unlicensed statue sellers I know but couldn't see it, got a link?

@Mad Moxxi - How goes it with KGH and those missing bike hands for your Cloud figure? Heard anything back from them yet
Yup, they answered my message about that.
"We will ask for the replacement hands for you and we will prepare the shipment once we receive them. :]"
That was their answer on Nov 2.
Thats all for now from them.
