I absolutely understand
@faker ’s frustration. Square Enix was once viewed upon as some prestigious brand…well, for better or worse, as that sentiment kinda got us where we are with them today i.e. - “a company with a misplaced sense of arrogance”…nonetheless, when you got a SE game, you knew it was gonna be quality. But over the past decade or so, their games have been:
1- going down in quality and are getting by on the brand name alone.
2- Unnecessarily long development cycles.
Their physical products are:
1- going down in quality-
2- whilst prices are going up. Make this make sense for me…
3- inconsistency with scale and reluctance to finish a series/line.
I too am frustrated with them as a company. Would i want them to fold? Nah, that’s too extreme. Would i like a new leader that’ll pull the company together and help bring back the quality it once stood for? ABSOLUTELY.
