I've got confidence they will, they know the outrage they caused with the HS shown in the prototypes, even in China's side. I'm sure we will see a situation like with RE Cloud

If I'm not mistaken, GT based their Tifa off her promotional photos. Expectations on GT's Tifa is high and went higher when ACG announced their entry. I really don't mind GT delaying the release date of Tifa, so long as they perfect Tifa to at least 80% likeness.

I think it's because that version of the sword in the picture is not really meant to be held. In the Deluxe version there's a thinner version of the sword which looks much better when held and I can see in the picture it's actually in the bike sheathe.

If you had to be pedantic, he shouldn't really be holding it as it looks like he wields 2 of them where actually it's only the one.

True!! Luckily his fingers are kinda bendy so I made him able to hold it anyways. I put the one sword in the sheathe just so the bike looked stacked and full of swords (and I didn't know where to put the extra one)

I was referring to the whole fusion sword combined.

On both of my copies using the “2nd hands” to hold the sword the figure has difficulty holding it upright and the shoulders tend to drop down.

That’s what I was referring to.

Ohhhh. Personally I haven't tried. It is very heavy. I like how it looks lower to the ground

I agree. Delay her until they get it near perfect. Or as good as it’s going to get, like with Cloud.

Yes that's the upcoming AC version, will be using a silicone body and apparently has moveable eyes.

For now, it's hot rumors until it is true.

Got the first few Bring Arts in from Hobby Genki the other day. It was my first order with them, so I was glad everything went smoothly. I'll never get over how it can take three days for FedEx to get something from Japan to my door, yet FedEx ground takes a week to go from coast to coast

I've got all of Bring Arts on order with Hobby Genki, so I'll probably just stick with these. It's really all I wanted from FF7 merch. I picked up the VTS and GT Cloud just because there wasn't really anything else. But this is more of my preference, since this is how I remember the FF7 crew. I'm super pleased with them. I wish there were materia that I could slot into the Buster Sword, that was a nice feature on the Game Toys figure.

I was looking forward to Game Toys putting out more FF7 stuff, but seeing as how that is looking increasingly unlikely, these are great. Having the whole crew in this format compared to just having Tifa and Cloud as 12-inch figures, hands down the Bring Arts are the way to go. I had the old Bandai Extra Knights from way back in the day, so it's cool to get a 'remake' of those.

Any advice for removing the clothes from the Remake / 1st Class Cloud body? I can't figure it out lol, how do you get the waistband off - over his head or down over his legs?

Edit; I figured it out, it was a lot more involved than I expected!

For anyone else planning a pauldron swap, ya have to partially disassemble the body by pulling the silicone cover off and removing three screws from the upper body. Then the belt can slip off, put the new one on and reassemble the body, then slip the shirt through the belt.

Not sure I got the pants on properly tho - feel like the zip ain't closed enough.

Also worth noting; the harness has changed from the Remake to First Class, the little magnet / materia attachment point is a new shape, so you can't use the materia anchor to put it on the Remake harness.

I wish there were materia that I could slot into the Buster Sword, that was a nice feature on the Game Toys figure.

Beads could be a good way to go for tiny Materia! You’d just need a way to stick them in place that won’t damage anything, or be too permanent in case you want to get rid of them later. But tbh if they’re a snug enough fit the friction might do the work for you without getting stuck forever lol

Phew... My first FF was FF8 when I was 9 years old, my dad downloaded it for me from the internet and I loved it. My first love was Squall haha Then I played FF7 and there I stayed with Sephiroth... You know, those dark vibes, white hair... every girl's dream hahaha And so many years later, I'm still drooling over him, nothing to do about it. I always understood why he was so angry... Growing up alone and being so different. A bit crazy but hey, I forgive him, hell yeah hahaha But generally, I am into villains, they are much more interesting!

Hopefully GT will give us great figures for a long, long time.

You can fix him lol.

why not just remove the shoulder pauldron and transfer it to the first class body since with the new updated articulation, the poseability is endless.

is this the RE body that you’ve used?

I’m guessing @TimDRX swapped the whole harness because the straps are different designs so just swapping the pauldron would look a little odd.
